Is Orianna's W supposed to be able to cast before Q reaches its destination?

Because it does, currently. If you cast W immediately after you cast Q to move the ball, W will cast and damage enemies before Q even reaches that destination.

I know there used to be a 1/4 second lockout of her other abilities after casting Q or W, but those lockouts seem to be much shorter now, more along the lines of 1/10 of a second. Can somebody else verify this?

EDIT: Pictures are worth more than words. In the first picture, you can clearly see the Dissonance animation playing before the ball reaches the destination; the white circle is actually when the damage happens but in this you can see the ripples as well. In the second picture, you can easily see W on cooldown and the minions taking damage from the ability before the ball lands.

Are you sure about that? Using W mid Q animation usually buffers her W to cast immediately when Q resolves. I main ori and I've never had W go off mid Q.

Positive, I just got out of a game in which it happened. I'll try to get a screenshot if I can.

Just posted pictures, not sure why this was down voted though.
