Does anyone else feel like riot's been lowering skill ceilings?

While increasing the complexity of champion's kits. Like a complex kit is cool and all, but if it doesn't take much skill to utilize it, where's the fun in learning the champion?

Just a quick example of what i'm talking about, is something like Lee Sin R, into Q combo. It's a complex mechanic, which is basically automated. I mean LC$BigPlays and all that obviously, but doesn't making them damn near automated just devalue them?

How are Lee sin combo's automated?

I gave a specific combo of lee sin's which was automated. R > Q, is impossible to dodge.

There are dozens of impossible to dodge combo's. The trick to countering them is to not get into the position to get combo'd in the first place.

Lee Sin is the least automated champ.

Actually Lee is hard to learn, not hard to play. Try playing immobile skillshot champions vs mobile, high dmg champions....

The point in your title may have some merit if you attacked it from a different angle. Lee Sin is one of the worst examples you could use. A good place to start would be the global timers in the jungle.

Ultimately I agree with a lot of the, "lowering of skill ceilings" because I would rather feel like I am playing a video game rather than taking a math test. Also for me, a champion does not have to be difficult to play in order for it to be fun to play.

It's odd how your example seems to go contrary to your post.

I would think Lee Sin would be the exact kind of champ you'd want them to copy
