The main reason why something like this wouldn't work is because people could troll by holding a champion (like whoever's last pick) and letting the enemy team get that champion. Especially when new champions come out.

That’s significantly less impactful that say, finding a one trick who hovers their champion, then banning it to troll them.

But how do they know you are banning them for the sake of trolling and not because of other means. There are champions people really don't like seeing in their games. For whatever reason that may be they have every right to ban a champion just as you have.

If there's a champion that they really hate to see on their team that is a problem. No champion should be that infuriating to play against imo

How do you know disco nunu is trolling and not just trying a new strat? See. When you use that logic anything makes sense in theory.
