Are allied minions so scared that they don't even realize they are on their side?
No but really, why does it even happen? I see in the Aatrox changes they removed an unnecessary feature where when he ulted any allied minions nearby him were feared

Two godlike beings fighting, their footprints big enough to cover you entirely, and one just shredded another in front of you. That'd be fucking horrifying no matter which side it was on.

Edit For ppl who seemingly can't get basics of how battles go on:
Having some1 incredibly powerful coming at your side and disintegrating an enemy you hadn't any hope to even scratch doesn't make you terrorized (unless the scene is particularly gruesome and you are not sure that your savior isn't going to be your killer now), instead it boosts your confidence in the battle ahead. Think about it as a godly intervention.

How does a fight equate to someones head being split in half like a watermelon. Ive seen people being punched but no, I havent seen people being cut like watermelons.
