That Caitlyn is a Gold4 Player With 40% winrate and hes been gold for his whole life . Why is he allowed to be in a plat3 game ONLY because he is duoing with a plat player ? yes i won that game . i busted my ass to carry that game . but im not happy i didnt want to play again after that game . i dont BLAME him because yes he was so bad but i dont blame him because he is gold4 with 40% winrate he suppose to play like that. i BLAME RIOT MATCHMAKING System for placing a player in a game with so much higher then his skill level . That veigar is gold2 but he is on a huge win streak and he has 60% winrate and actually he was a good player he deserved to be in that game but 40% WR gold4 ??? its 2019 for god sake

Do somthing about it . IF u want DUO exist its ok . but make an option for players like me so if i activate that option i dont get DUO in my team . i dont want duo in my team what should i do ? FIX IT , Remove it . Give players the option. idk do somthing about it but this is not fun . i want an answer a clear answer From a rioter i think we all want right ?

Because if Riot was going to fix this, it wouldn't be from this post, and because "force" is never as solid an answer as you expect.

it shouldnt be allowed. Way too many times i get gold 3 and gold 4's in my games and im plat 4, they always play horribly and give up

Because Duoing is not restricted to MMR ranges that MM uses but instead off Tiers which represent massive range. Add in chaos of this season start, positional MM, and it gets really janky.

Easy solution, restrict doing to MMR values for the majority of the ladder, Top and bottom have their own rules where you treat players with an assumed MMR made from the average of that division, rather then their exact value.

But... Duoing is very popular. like this game shows, looks like you had at least 2 duos And as deadweight is deadweight the MM gaps can only get so high before the MMR gap between to vastly different skilled duos allows them to climb to far up the ladder. If the low tier player can pull weight, it works. if not? cost them a win.It wont break the ladder. It just sucks to deal with,adds uncertainty, and makes mismatches.

Fact is not every feature riot has is about quality of matches, some are for player perception.

Worst case for duoing, Silver 4 and Gold 1. With low and high MMR values your looking at a MMR range that covers about 80% of the games players.

Good MMR MM should more or less look like this https://imgur.com/a/4SFSAf9 That's accurate to my knowlage but I do make mistakes. Seems very reasonable imo at least.
