I dont know what is exactly the problem. and its not my job to know that. but there is somthing wrong RIOT. ur Players are not happy. They Dont have fun like before. They dont feel balance or shit like before. People are leaving because riot lets trolls do whatever they want but we can’t say shit to them. Riot has gone full snowflake and can’t handle people being mean but people intentionally losing games is ok.

I think riot is doing a great job there buffing champions everyone loves like vayne,cho,mundo and only giving vague reasons as to why they wont nerf riven,

They said there not making nexus blitz permanent a mode a lot of people wanted to be permanent.

The kayle rework where riot changed how kayle looked and made it worst for a stupid reason that makes no sense.

The new fucking ivern skin how in gods name did that make it into the game like riot should of just cancelled it like it just pissed off ivern players and is probably the worst skin in the game while close to it.

They have said nothing about matchmaking problems in ranked that I see people complaining about.

They have said nothing about the seemingly increasing problem of people giving up in ranked and the large amount of trolling in games.

I feel like season 9's biggest problem is not balancing but how riot has handled there communication has been terrible only giving vague reasons to things or no reasons at all for unpopular changes. Like if riot give the exact reason as to way and how vayne was buffed it probably would of gone much better and nexus blitz is also a great example since the reasons for it not being permanent could easily be applied to TTT.

Have you noticed that nearly everyone who leaves.... are people who got punished, and then make a very dramatic exit? If you are talking about on the boards at least.

Plus, its mostly only the same people complaining or taking advantage of Reddit's bored population that does not mind causing trouble for a bit of kicks.

The actual posts that are helpful or even expose a possible problem are overshadowed by the absolute troll post extravaganza that happens.

academy kane , your logic is flawed . i had two promos bac to bac and both games had trolls so 4 games of trolls i was civil for those four games but then i got a couple more and then a couple more and then instead of trying to climb i was fighting to stay in the level i was at no change in my game play style none at all i played well just was the victim of troll after troll after troll, when you allow ppl to purposfully lose games you ruin your product, when you force 5 players who dont know each other to play u creat toxicity. this is a five person games we shoudl be in 5 person premades. with in game chat aval to not do this invites abuse smurfing trolling purposfull crap the is all negative, the players that flame are the ones that care as they have been abused over and over you dont flame right off the hop you get goaded and forced there. Your matchmaking is poor at best your lack of forsight to allow chat and 5 man teams is baffling. honeslty i think you want the toxicity you truly just dont give a damn about the customer anymore. heres the thing i have lots and lots of disposable income i want to spend it here but you do not provide a sensible product to pay for so i play for free hoping you might grasp some small bit of sense but your comments above are so out of touch its beyond confusing and down right anoying.

Because Riot surrounds themselves with Yes Men who will defend everything they do, which allows them to pretend all the people who have legitimate grievances are just whining about nothing. Look at the moderator post near the top of the replies even - His post is, as of the time I write this, sitting at exactly +1 while he tries to detract from what post above him says, that post being at +11. Clearly more people agree that Riot is in the wrong than they do that Riot is in the right, but Riot will only listen to people who give them positive feedback and stroke their ego.

People are leaving the game because Riot will not do simple things like listen to the playerbase in any meaningful capacity and the way they handle punishment is absurdly bad. Words are punished far more harshly and far more commonly than actions are. I personally swore off spending money on League a long time ago, and I'm glad I did. I haven't bought Riot points in years, and as long as Riot continues to display that they have no interest in fixing their real problems, I will never spend another cent on them. I refuse to do their "Watch and Earn" missions because straight up, I don't want to give them Twitch views or any ad revenue. I 100% believe that the way the company is managed, they don't deserve it.

Maybe I am very outdated, but I played this game since day 1 release. Back then, I remember even half the game mechanics was crap game was so fun and addicting. Haven't played it already for a year and a half. Recently started to play Dota 2, and man that game is as satisfying as I was playing league back then, when items and champions had versatility. Now game turned into uninteresting meatball. Just get meta champs take same meta build. Game just gone to a wrong direction, its not even interesting on competitive level. I remember watching and being a fan of different teams. Now championships are so boring that haven't watched them for over 3 years, 2 min and man I am out, its so boring. Game just turned into a repetitive garbage, and no mature audience has or wants to waste a time. Since day one average player-base had a very high median age, then it went lower and lower, dunno but game deepness turned into a very dumb level, even Mario for 1990s is more satisfying.

They've known that the game has been dying in the West for years. They pissed off their core audience in the west for a process called churn and burn. The West has been churned and now burns. China and other Asian markets are still churning. I do wonder how much of that dollar falls into riot's pockets, though. I'm willing to bet Tencent gets a very high percentage of all sales in Asia. Garena takes a decent cut from League shit in SEA. Not sure who gets it in Korea. But even with those markets bringing very little back into the actual company and people who make the game, it's enough for them to piss off the West since that market is obviously dwindling. That's what you get when you prioritize short term growth over long term stability.
