This is one that's stretched back centuries, and enveloped the deaths of many a champion..... So... why do caster minions do physical damage? It's probably a stupid question, and it's probably to make thornmail less garbage but.... I don't get it?

(Just a humorous little post to take the edge off.)

all caster autos count as physical damage.

The argument could easily be made that the "caster" minions are "casting spells" instead of auto attacks.
