@riot why is lux q getting nerfed?
Lux already had w completely gutted and is performing poorly in high elo. Lux is bottom 10 worst win rate in NA diamond.

Lux
Illumination (Passive) [looks like a value increase, confirming.] [Seems to be +10 per level instead of +8]
Light Binding (Q) damage lowered to 50/100/150/200/250 from 60/110/160/210/260
I think Riot intends for this to be more of a compensation nerf for the passive buff she's getting on the PBE.
Lux has always been very low-interaction champ due to her reliable, long-ranged Lucent Singularity, and has consistently pushed her Light Binding and Illumination to be stronger in order to drive her to be more interactive with her opponents rather than just endlessly poke out her opponents with her E.
In this context, the passive buffs make sense, but the Binding nerf doesn't. If Riot wanted to buff Lux I'd rather see her passive get buffed and the Binding remain untouched until the passive buffs prove to make her way too strong (assuming they do make her too strong, obviously don't nerf it if it doesn't make her too strong).
I think she's be easier to balance if they stopped her passive autoattacks from counting as two charges of Thunderlord's Decree.

Her W is way better now, her Q snares not 1 BUT 2 people for an eternity. Hits like a truck, and is the basis for her combo. She landed Q, oh here comes E ult dead
It's range and utility is too good. You cannot use a minion shield like you can with Morg/Blitz/Thresh. Translation, the spell is too safe for the results. Low risk with a high reward.
I don't want to be down 30% health because her q chunks me, even when I build abyssal. Lux dmg is too op.
