most adc mains aren't asking for more diversity

Virtually all bot players are also adc mains. Adc mains are not asking for more diversity so they can heimer and swain bot. People that don't even play bot aren't asking for more diversity a the role they don't even play. The only reason for this diversity push is to shake up the pro meta, but it is at the expense of 20% of your player base. Riot just needed to tone down adc late game a bit so other classes can actually impact the game past 30 minutes if they get fed. Not sure why the dumpstered their base stats too.

Diversity means ADC genocide.

no shit. if marksmen are the only viable class in the duo lane carry role, then how else are there going to be non marksmen mains bot?

its like youre telling us that water is wet.

ADCs are still nearly all that's picked bot yet when you see one or two non ADC get picked bot a couple percent of the time you all ask for changes.

Holy crap I mean seriously ADC items just got buffed and they are ridiculously strong. Im so tired of people crying out for this stupid staled force ADC carry crap that's been in this game for years.

Boo hoo. Marksmen have had bot for like 6 years all to themselves. There was a time where some of you were good top did you see top or mid laners crying for buffs? It's time to share, just like assassins, mages, tanks, brusiers, healers, etc. arent always valuable or necessary to a team to succeed its finally your turn to join the club.

and the diversity is a lot lower. You see less different champs bot now than ever. Previously every singe adc was usable, now i cn forget about my best adc Kalista, which i was dominating bot, even thou she was considered weakest adc, shes now worthless pile of garbage.

Just a note, the point was to tone down their mid game so that you didnt just lose because bot hit mid-late so fast when they were fed. It was fun for you, but not for anyone else. How do you think junglers felt knowing that they had to gank for you or they lost??

As an ADC, I love the diversity. I enjoy Swain and Vladimir, and I'm having fun learning Heimerdinger. However, their base stats are strong to the point of being able to handle their own in a solo lane. ADCs (mostly) aren't capable of doing that, save for a few matchups. Because of this, mages (after Lost Chapter) can keep an opposing ADC permashoved under their tower, as well as having very strong all in potential. The diversity in bot is fine, but the base strength of incoming bot laners is ridiculous. If a champion is going to be played bot, they should fit the roles that ADCs fill: either a poor early, good late scaling carry, or a good early, fall off late lane bully. Balance champs like Swain and Heimer around this, and create specific AP champs for bot lane in the future, and I think bot lane will become much more fun than it's ever been.

I think there's more diversity in the sense that there's a wider variety of champion type that can manage bot lane. I think that, in itself, is good. It's bad that the actual number of different champs being played seems to be lower, though.

Games go past 30 minutes? Since when? Maybe Season 6 and before.
