About Miss Fortune's E skill

So I started playing Miss Fortune and I have to say I really like her kit. The ultimate feel awesome, the lane-bully potential of double-up is amazing and strut really makes skillshot dodging interesting.

But.

Her E is somewhat... lackluster. I never really had a situation yet where the slow has ever saved me, dealt any damage or was anout to actually bother my opponent in any way. The damage is low, the slow not strong either and it still costs a felt shitton of mana. The only thing I learned after playing some games: if you are in lane, NEVER use that skill, or you run oom. What's the point of am ability if you never use it?

I'm not even sure how that thematically goes that long with her theme, apart from the name itself being a certain reference - or how it's supposed to synergize with the rest of the kit. I don't need it to get people stuck in my ult either, so... what is the point of this spell?

Miss Fortune's E, Make it Rain, is pretty much utility only. You're not suppose to do damage with it, but it has so many uses.

-Use it to push lane/farm -Use it to slow people or entire teamfights -Use it to tag assists -It can be used to execute low health enemies -It can scout brushes -It allows her to follow up REALLY well on any ganks/all-ins -Use before you ult so you can slow them in your ult -Can be used to chase since it has a really high range -Good for trying to disengage/escape people

It's kind of like Ezreal W: Bad with AD, amazing with AP.

While AP Ezreal has his uses and can fit thematically (after all he is some weird magic marksman), this theme somehow fails to deliver on Miss Fortune. I have TWO FAT GUNS. Not-Magical. There is literally nothing about that that screams "MAGIC DAMAGE! BUILD AP!"

I wish they would fix the animation of Ezreal's W tho....

And the weird thing is....her E and R only have AP ratios and her Q has both AD and AP ratios.

AD ratios for magic damage and AP ratios for physical? Well, not sure what they thought when designing that...

Ratios don't change the damage type of the spell. For old champions it is common to have ap ratios on AD champions because the philosophy was that abilities scale from the stat Ability Power, that's why pre-rework Tristana only had AP ratios despite being an ADC. I think that the first champion to have a kit without any AP ratios was Riven.

Nowadays they simply put AP ratios on abilities on AD champs simply to give it a type of scaling, but not something that will govern their damage a crap ton, because its supposed to be their utility. Like How graves have Ap on smokescreen. Nobody is gonna play Graves AP.

It is also to give some items as triforce and gauntlet a purpose.

Her ult scales indirectly with AD. It applies stacks of her W/Impure Shots.

And that's another thing. Impure Shots increases with AD...but it does magic damage.

Her kit is all over the place.

And yet I still do just fine with her as a standard ADC. Hybrid damage has never been a bad thing, even if you can't get penetration stats for both.

Especially the part you get damaged 1 second after his W disappeared.

Oh god yes that is so annoying...

Her E is actually very nice. It basically Is there to bully other players. If you are in bottom lane and you see a JG gank is heading your way, if you pop the E he most likely will not head into it. Who would? Thus you can use it to control the players because simply nobody wants to be slowed and take damage.

In most cases the jungler barely gives a hoot about the not even 100 damage, walks/dashes through and tries to kill me anyways. If he doesn't I wouldn't have needed the skill in the first place.

This might work against unskilled players, but those who know they can easily take the slow and the damage ignore it completly...

Yes the damage is low witch I think they should change, But there are always ways around everything. I think since her passive makes her fast they decided to keep the slow at that rate because MF moves so fast anyways, so they might have thought it was a good idea not to make it better.
