one problem plaguing ranked for a long while

the fact its so easy to get demoted after a promote off of shear bad luck, ive had a lot of friends going from say silver 2 to silver 1 right? now their lp is at 0 and the promo wins didnt give them any lp to spare, 2 bad games right after? boom right there thats enough to get demoted and have hours of hard work thrown out the window and if this trend persists a few times ive had a friend quit playing league all together because they would get to silver 1, lose 2 and get demoted everytime until once it just decided to demoted them down to silver 3 instead of 2 and they just havent really played since

bottom line i think we need lp gain from promo wins to carry over into the new rank so we have some protection there which with splash now demoting you i think is needed, as of now you can promote and go maybe play an off role, have a few bad games and get a completely different role that you JUST promoted, demoted just because "why not" while winning cant get an off role promoted or even into promos? at that point its just working against you honestly
