What if Frost Queen's Claim stunned (or snared) instead of slowed?

So basically change its active to an Anivia Q. Keep the same damage, keep the same range, change the radius to the same as Anivia's Q (or smaller...though 75 isnt all that large), and bam, it now has an active I am willing to upgrade for.

Right now, FQC isn't really worth building, not when there are other more important items to finish first. Talisman of Ascension item 3069 and Face of the Mountain item 3401 give useful stats and actives that warrant building them quickly, and even keeping into the late game. I feel FQC should have an active or stats that do the same.

Not to say AOE 80% slows are bad, but it (coupled with FQC's stats) just doesn't compare to ToA or FotM. If it was an aoe stun however, that would make it useful in many more situations, and would give FQC more utility use without simply giving more AP (which I believe Riot doesn't want to do because then midlaners could start picking it up).

If the stun isn't enough, then maybe it could also make attacks and abilities against stunned targets (from the active) give the support more than 10 gold.

EDIT: A snare might be a better option. Stun could potentially be too strong.

Why not just change it into a snare. That's someting in between right.

i dont think riot would give a aoe stun with a 1 min cd.

this would be so broken as a sona main the slow needs a nerf if anything as 80% is basically a stun when chasing having 2 stuns would be auto win in bot lane

... Why not make it so FQC builds into itself? FQ claim FQ denial (+800g, 80AP, slow makes a field that slows enemies) FQ grace (+1250g, 120AP, slow is now a stun and deals %hp magic damage instead of true damage. Passive gold is increased to +5)

Rule #1 when making items: No hard CC.

That could actually be good. I never upgrade the blue support item. I just use it for some early gold and sell it around 25 minutes, but this could be worth.
