FUCKING FIX AKALI
I love Akali, ngl. I think she's a fun champion that rewards skillful play (yes, she has great escape tools, but it's not super easy to actually kill people). However, I understand that she's a frustrating champion to play against. In early 2018 and such, she was definitely overtuned and pretty bullshit to play against. But after around mid 2018, she's had a sub 50% winrate, and hovering around 48% ever since. She has the 44th (out of 50) highest winrate (or the 6th lowest) top lane, and the 50th (out of 54) highest win rate mid (or the 5th lowest). She has been changed in 8 of the 23 patches in Season 9, and is planned on being nerfed in 9.24.
I'm just tired of this shit. You thought her Shroud (W) was OP, so you took away the ability to hide under tower and not take shots. Fair, that was broken. Then you took away the Q heal. I don't think this was needed, but I don't mind. Fleet is ok, and Doran's Shield works too. I didn't have any issues here. Then you make Akali visible in shroud if she attacks enemies. Again, fair. It adds some counterplay. Ok. Well, then you take away any CD from levelling it. Seems fine to me, again, I don't mind because she got more energy back on W in exchange for this nerf. Ok, you also removed the lengthening of the duration if she enters and exits. Again, fair, because 20 seconds of stealth is super fucking annoying. I approve. Seems fine. Ok, then you take away R stun. Fine, she doesn't need it, and assassins with CC (coughQiyanacough) are pretty bullshit unfair, so I thinks it's fine. Then you...nerf the CD on it? Why? It literally makes no fucking difference in pretty much any scenario. I don't see any reason for this nerf, but I guess they gave more damage? I'd rather have the CD back, but...ok. Seems...weird.
And now you want to nerf her again.
Look, whether you love Akali (like me) or hate her (like most on the Boards do), we can all agree:
Riot has no fucking idea what to do with this champion.
I'm tired of relearning the same champion again and again. I hate this. I love her playstyle, but just give her a mini-rework. Keep the passive. Maybe remove the Q slow, it's not necessary anyways. Give her a new W. Her E is ok, R seems fine to me because of the CD (though I'd like the CD back and a little less damage).
I can't help but feel like Riot saw that Conqueror was broken on some Champs (Ryze, Cassio, Garen, etc) and just randomly picked a few to "please" the community, yet Cassio and other champions ares not getting any changes. Conqueror is what needs to be addressed, not a lot of these champs (Ryze is an exception)
