Nobody wants to support because you have less gold, feel like having less impact, are there to serve your team, have to buy wards and put yourself in danger for vision, have to sacrifice yourself, etc.
Now that the support is more like a secondary-carry role people complain that there is too much damage in the game and the support can easily 1 vs 1 the enemy adc.

They don't listen to what we want, and they just do what ever they think is good. When people actually come up with thoughtful responses for balancing issues Riot just ignores it like it never existed. They balance the game based on LCS which is practically farmville. How the fuck do you balance a game off of farmers? You can't. Now we got a huge issues that date back in season 1 but wasn't as grave then s6, and s7 hit and the issues got dramatically worst. When riot does "listen to us" they exagerate the fix, in a way so they can say they "fixed" the issue but now a "different problem" has risen. This is done purposely. Frankly, some of us are getting tired of it.

Now that they do tons of damage to give people more incentive to pick it everyone is like 'WTF Riot support unbalanced 1 shot ADC WTF too much damage in the game". That is what you get as a community for trashing the support role on the forum since as long as I play this game, season 3.
