Why can't we mute pings?

Serious question. What am I supposed to do when someone spam pings me all game. I'm trying to keep a level head, but it's really hard when there isn't an off button for toxic behavior.

Because then I can't give you the "?" after you walked into lane and died 4 times in 5 minutes.

You need to see the "?" to know that you're garb :D

He's talking about muting individual pings, from people just spam pinging all game. Makes sense you should be able to without turning off all pings.

In game, Options, Settings, Sound, Mute.

Apparently you can do something like /ignore <player name> then it will mute everything from them including pings
