So why am i paired against Challenger/Master players in normal?

I've been having very bad games these last few days, turns out almost every single game (Normals) i was paired up with or against DIA1, Master and Challenger players while my account being Gold 1, hello Riot, are you completely out of your god damn mind?

And please, don't try to explain to me that "Normals have a different MMR system" I am literally playing against challengers and masters every damn game while i never left plat.

Edit: It's not a random masters player lost in normals, it's every game, https://gyazo.com/b3cc367207a83b4a7877b60c999e0296 just my last game 2 challengers and a master in the enemy team.

Normal MMR is separate from ranked MMR, meaning that if you have played normals often in the past and done well, you are paired with people of similar normal MMR. On top of that, Challenger and Masters players rarely play normals, so their MMR is usually quite low to begin with. I have seen people in Diamond-Masters on a Gold account I was grinding on in normals.

Other people will say normals MMR, which is true, but it's that way because Challenger players want to play normals too and they'd rather not be in queue for over 45 minutes waiting for 9 other of the remaining 299 Challenger players to queue up for normals.

I think the game's pretty much given up on having any semblance of matchmaking in normals anymore.
