For goodness sakes, this champ is mad weak and the only reason why people are upset is because they are mad that they are bad enough to get outplayed

"Outplayed"

That word, I do not think it means what you think it does.

I've played 3 games of the champ and hard carried using nothing but his Q and auto attacks. His R is sort of just something to style on kids before you kill them, not really useful in any situation, imo.

Yasuo is braindead to play and broken as hell. Yasuo doesn't outplay so much as he "out dps'" everyone around him. I wouldn't really call Auto->Q->auto->auto->Q->auto->ignite outplaying someone so much as it is that Yasuo can just... you know... 4 shot people at level 1. Lol.

Restless Slumber2 votes

Low elo players... smh. Champions should always be looked at from the highest level of play. And guess what? Only a number of people can play Yasuo to great effect in challenger. Am I a Yasuo player? No. I have mastery 5, but that was when I was silver. Now I'm a diamond player and understand how hard he is. Quit your whining.

RcGjWO640w2 votes

Lol, what?

Okay kid, you can lie to yourself all day long, but at the end of the day, Yasuo does not require any skill to play as. His kit is extremely safe, you need exactly zero kills to pop off and you can basically spend the first 20 minutes of the game farming and you'll be unstoppable by 25.

Quit my whining? I PLAY Yasuo and understand how simple of a champion he is. No one is fooling anyone with this "Yasuo takes skill" nonsense.

"Ur, yeah, well, I'm diamond and there he takes skill!" No, he doesn't, diamond takes a requisite amount of player skill just to achieve. It takes skill to play Annie in diamond, but that doesn't mean Annie is a difficult champion.

If you stop trying to act like Faker and "outplay" everyone and just play Yasuo like Master Yi, then you can understand in principle how simple he is. Yasuo literally fills the same role in a game as Master Yi. Wait for the teamfight to start, bait out the CC, then dive in and fucking murder everyone. No outplay involved, just don't be the first dickhead to get focused and you auto win the teamfight by simply having the most DPS.

I have never lost a teamfight on Yasuo if I'm no the first one to get focused. It just doesn't happen.

So you can take your Elo Lording attitude and shove it right up that pretentious ass of yours.

Restless Slumber2 votes

It takes 0 skill to get diamond on Annie. It takes skill to get diamond on Yasuo. Diamond is not hard to achieve at all if can play your champion well. Which champion is it easier to play well? Oh yea, it's Annie. The only reason you think Yasuo is easy is because you are playing him at low elo.

I've seen a lot of Yasuo's and my elo and a lot of them are garbage. Not because Yasuo is hard, but because people always try going for the most retarded "plays". They're 100% aggro at all phases of the game and they get killed for it because they act like idiots. When you play Yasuo with a brainstem, understand that you do not need to win lane to destroy people as Yasuo. If you survive the laning phase with any decent amount of farm, then you'll automatically scale into the mid and late game harder than your enemy laner, no matter what.

Once you get your IE + Zeal item, the game is over for most squishies. You just 2 hit them with an auto->Q and god forbid you catch them out with your ulti up.

Yasuo is a champion who has a greater chance of winning a game by just not playing like a monkey. If you can do that, if you can refrain from having those, "my body is telling me yes" moments with his Q knockup, then you'll win most games by virtue of having double the DPS of the enemy team.

Incarceration1 votes

By the time Yasuo finishes those items, people should be grouping up. That makes it a lot harder for Yasuo to just "e" in and kill you. n if they don't peel for you, get out of that elo then.

Incarceration1 votes

Yasuo is basically a Melee adc, so ofc you won't lose if you don't get focused. You'll just ramp up and surprise them, and there is a reason why Yasuo, Zed, and Riven are some of the hardest champs in the game. It's called decision-making, and mechanics.

RcGjWO640w1 votes

Yasuo's decision making pretty much stops at, "Don't try to 1v3".

Incarceration1 votes

So I don't decide which minions to e through bc the pathing literally needs to be near perfect for you to actually harass or trade with them.

RcGjWO640w1 votes

Why not just walk up and Auto+Q? Lol? Because you just dealt 2 auto attacks + ~20 damage at level 1 immediately. Congrats, you won the trade.

Incarceration1 votes

Are you just expecting me to have 90 dmg like yi does at lvl. 1?? And there's a thing called retaliation and kiting.

Automated Riven1 votes

yeah try that shit with riven. you will lose half of your health bar. at least.

Why cant I get people like this in my games?

I don't enjoy playing against Yasuo, but that doesn't mean I think he is OP. He is a ridiculously difficult champion to play, so more often than not I will respect a Yasuo if he goes off. What I hate is the intense amount of people who play the champ and just feed.

"NOTICE ME FAKER SENPAI!" Dies for the 4th time

Incarceration2 votes

4 deaths isn't ridiculous, especially in the elo you play in.

agbudar1 votes

he has 2 ults that are game breaking he has 2 passives that are game breaking he has near infinite dashes once you master him he does shit ton of damage combined with 50% bonus armor pen for 15 seconds if he lands his ult his ult is on a 30-18 sec cooldown depending on your cdr. if you for the funsies get the 5% cdr from cunning you can get it down to 16.5 seconds that means if you are decent you can have your ult bonus armor pen up for virtually the whole time.

the only 2 things that might be considered a weakness for him could be the fact that

he is melee but his Q and dashes nulify this weakness completely and his stats are not like juggernauts and tanks.

Incarceration1 votes

Q range isn't 500+ range. All he has a shield that usually goes down within 10 secs of it replenishing. Armor Penetration isn't gamebreaking. An AOE ultimate is gamebreaking Near infinite dashes does not mean 6- 12. Getting an extra Shield from ulting isn't game breaking because the shield goes down just as it goes up. I've noticed it. That "shit ton of damage" requires you to actually be within range of even tanks to actually get that damage off. I could literally use my "gamebreaking" ult on a maokai and get locked down. And even if you are decent, you don't just randomly ult and auto to win because people will retaliate.

N his weaknesses are obv.

He's melee and prone to cc, therefore prone to ganking, and his stats aren't all that impressive for trading in the early game, especially at top.

Q range isn't 500+ range.

And he gets to spam it for free. Missed one? Wait for 3 seconds to come back & spam it again.

All he has a shield that usually goes down within 10 secs of it replenishing.

Which is typically annoying, considering the fact that he already has his Windwall & spammable dashes to protect himself from.

Armor Penetration isn't gamebreaking.

It is when I'm playing a Tank champion, and 50% of my Armor builds all went to waste.

An AOE ultimate is gamebreaking

No shit Sherlock.

Near infinite dashes does not mean 6- 12.

6-12 is more than enough to annoy the heck out of his lane opponent, where a Yasuo player can't just sit still & farm, and decides to EQ to your face & pushes you off lane.

Dashes. Just tons of it.

And that is assuming if a jack-ass Yasuo player tries to 1v5. Most of the time, Yasuo wouldn't get a 5 man attention when they have to focus on a possibly fed mid & ADC.

N his weaknesses are obv.

He's melee and prone to cc, therefore prone to ganking, and his stats aren't all that impressive for trading in the early game, especially at top.

Again, the dashes. That kind of weakness applies to champions like Sion, who doesn't have a single bit of mobility.

DoktorKaiser1 votes

Yeah he is so shitty that nobody plays him in Diamond-Master-Challenger. Oh wait he has 30% pick over there as well and dominates as much as in low elo. I guess he is balanced...

Nerf Yasuo

JedenVojak1 votes

Well the number of people who play the champion should suggest that he's not universally hated, so don't feel bad, OP.

I always preferred Tryndamere though.

Incarceration1 votes

What's your point? At least I don't let that interfere with my thinking. That's why it's always rational.

MXXXXXL1 votes

That's nice, i wasn't saying it was interfering with your thinking, i just thought it was a funny coincidence.
