If the nexus is under attack, there is nothing you should be prioritizing over recalling.

I dont know why I have to say this but apparentally I do. Those 2 seconds of satisfaction you get from chasing down and killing the enemy adc are going to cost you the game unless the person attacking your nexus is janna or rakan.

When you are chasing someone while your nexus is under attack you can be 100% sure that they are going to stop your recall at all costs if you don't kill them.

That's a good point for that situation. Wouldn't have thought of that!

chasing down

Im referring to a situation in which you are not nearby or in the vision of enemies and can therefore safely recall, but you would choose to leave said safe position to kill the enemy kai’sa or something. Not when you are already in the process of chasing someone and your nexus falls under attack during the chase.

If someone is doing that then it's obvious they want the game to end.

Besides, depending on champ it might not even matter if they recall the second they show in base unless you have Baron empowered recall.

Except the enemy nexus?

While I generally agree, there's still a point where you can base-race them, which is likely your best bet.

Plus, it might cause them to make poor decisions and recall to stop you even if you can't take it first, thereby giving your team the numerical advantage.
