why is tristana weak?
she seems pretty fine to me, tbh.

It's sort of like hypercarry vs hypercarry situation. Like you have tristana, but then you have Jinx, Kog'maw, Corki, twitch and stuff.
Trist is pretty strong that's very true but I think she is a bit behind when Jinx has a fairly stronger lane. I could be totally wrong about this of course but its hard to see it any other way.
Of course there are a few amazing reasons to pick trist over other hypercarries like mobility, self peeling, and objective control with high range that can doesn't require an ability to use.

I think Trist has one of the best ADC lanes tbh but maybe I'm just good with her lol
She isn't that weak, it's all about jus getting ahead in lane but that can be said about almost any adc
ive carried more games on trist lately than any other adc. she is only weak until 6 or when u get bf sword plus hurricane then u can run over everyone with resets good positioning and timing. dont know why she isnt being played much i take her into ez alot cause she just as mole and self peeling as he is but does tons more dps in the late game. She is my favored hypercarry though
she has good self peel. her weakness. is that shes too weak early game. even vayne. has more base damage with W procs. tristana just scales with item. she isn't the best late game carry. and she is one of the worse early game carries.
her strength was taking down turrets faster than anyone. but turrets die so fast anyways tristana doesn't make a difference.
Early game isn't her problem before the 1st idem she can fight most adc'. when you both get 1 idem she falls off. Then she comes back at 3 idems
because tristana players are absolute dog shit
It makes me cry when people say trist has a weak early game... I literally pick trist when someone locks in caitlyn jinx or mf.. Usually come out winning
as someone who has this champion as the one with the highest mastery point amount. i can say Trist can take on any lane matchup as long as you are skilled enough.
her explosive charge ability not only lends tower pushing power but the passive component allows her to get some damage on people that think it's a good idea to stand right next to minions that die from you last hitting them.
Rapid fire and Explosive Charge combined allow a Tristana that's halfway to full build to push lanes fast enough to put splitpushing toplaners to shame.
using Buster Shot at the right time will safe your short purple hide(or murder them if you decide to do AP trist)
the reason you don't see Trist all that often is simply because a. trist is a hypercarry that is fairly weak at first but when she gets to late game she's a pint sized destructive force of nature, and games generally are snowball in less than 20 minutes or be killed. b. the ADCs with long range, zoning, free temporary vision, and solid damage output(Ashe, Cait, and Jhin) are the top dogs of the ADC role at this moment.
Tristy is far from weak. . My build is Guinsoo rageblade, runnann hurricane, berzerk boots,Infinity edge /essence Reaver, blade of ruined king /mercury smitar /bloodthurster, and either lord dominik regard for penetration or a defense item if il get burst by assassin.
