Make rakan and thresh able to use relic shield please

No other support champions are trapped unto using coin as their gold item. Even Janna can use spellthief because she has an adequate attack range. Rakan however is a range champion with a range of 300.... That's so low. He can't even auto attack poke while in lane like thresh can. Thresh actually is in the same boat. You see thresh everywhere buikding relic shield because his passive allows him to actually deal adequate damage to minions to execute them. This has been in decision for a while regarding thresh and relic shield because he is apparently neither melee or range. Would it be that devastating to the game if both rakan and thresh were made melee? I mean would you see them going top lane an building ad? Probably not because they could do that now and no melee item would change them. Please consider it riot.

when rakan isn't a tank so he doesn't build relic and thresh can last hit because of his e plus hes a tank so its viable on him. and thresh can go ad its a 1 shot build with maxxing e first and getting crit. the last thing is rakan was melee at the start if his design with the highest melee range possible then they changed it so you wouldn't see tank rakan as support

I still play tank rakan. You can still use relic it's just difficult to last hit. Tank rakan isn't the worst thing in the world. His base stats are low and in line with support. Not tanks

To be fair, Rakan has amazing AP Scalings on his shield, heal, and I think his knock up has a decent on as well. :/ So Rakan is perfectly able to build Spellthief's, especially with them making his heal skillshot thingie have a longer range.

Rakan can w in, auto, q, e out to use all spelltheif stacks pretty reliably without too much risk, so it's definitely an option.

As it stands, all 3 support items are actually used by different top rakans (who have like 55%+ winrates, sometimes even 60%+), so it seems theres a variety of players who already find they can effectively last hit with rakan if they want to go the relic shield route.

Yes. All I'm,saying is that he should be melee. I'm not saying he can't I'm just saying that I don't like how riot designed it to be difficult. His animation is even melee.
