What Determines Your Ranked Tier?

Is it just losses and wins for your provisional? I honestly think that isn't fair, and I hope it's more of how well you do as an individual and your attitude towards the game. Not carrying, because simply not every champ can carry a game. I also think that ranked is based on how well you do as an individual because its YOUR tier and placement, not the other teams. More over like does it take into consideration your kills deaths and assists and chat messages to others?

Your rank is a reflection of your MMR, which is directly derived from raw wins/losses. Raising your rank because you're a good sport about losing is stupid. At the end of the day, your team played worse than the other team, and no amount of good attitude will change that.

You're totally right, you should have a separate Ranked Tier for how many games you win and Person Tier for your attitude.

You are confusing me, I never said it IS unfair, I just said I THINK it's unfair. Also, why post in white, it hurts people's eyes?

Your tier placement is based entirely on whether you win or lose, with adjustments to account for where you rank relative to your team and the enemy team. Stats in an individual game, as well as chat messages, do not affect your ranking in the slightest. If you win against players that you statistically should have lost against, then your MMR will be boosted significantly. Similarly, if you lose to lower-leveled teams, your MMR will drop by quite a bit to account for it.

Stats, performance, builds, chat; none of this matters at all. All that matters is the end result: Were you able to work with your team well enough to win?

So if faker losses all his provisionals and he has like 60/0/10 score on every one of those games he is placed in bronze? Something like that?

Ranking from previous seasons is also factored in. And don't forget matchmaking, either. He would be matched against very tough opponents, meaning he wouldn't drop as much for losing as he would if he were facing players such as you and I.
