But nothing ever said or done about actual trolls that run rampant through the game. I'll get downvoted for not being happy that my games constantly end with one of my teammates intentionally trying to lose or going afk, but everyone can get behind crucifying someone typing 4 letters in a post game lobby.

I know you guys are kids, so I'm not trying to be hard on your ability to discern which is the greater problem, but come on, can't anyone see the glaring issues that remain??

lol. Because when they are actively spending resources to manage a community so that their game is actually playable they shouldn't focus on the issues that ruin games entirely. My bad, i should realize that the issue of 75% of my games ending because someone intentionally trolled and lost the game is minor in comparison to the occasional end of game "gg ez"

Oh well, I knew the only response would be this way. It is the way of the immature to magnify the non essentials and ignore actual issues. Carry on with your demonizing of the massive toxicity that is "gg ez".

  • All players must now submit their real name, address, and valid photo ID when making an account. Existing users will be required to provide this information before they can log in.
  • Real name will be verified by IP address of submission and live video chat.
  • All players are subject to local, state, and federal background checks. Player's IP will be cross-indexed across many popular forums. Player's parents, neighbors, teachers, spouse, and/or children will be interviewed (as applicable) by Riot staff to confirm player's history of non-toxic behavior.
  • Only players that pass the above clearances will be labeled Certified Non-Toxic and allowed to log in.
  • The punishment for all infractions against the Summoner's Code has been escalated to permanent ban.

Not only is this anti-troll system stupid, it defeats the half the purpose of having internet in the first place.

It would only create more problems imo.

I've seen far more ppl type "go ez" than I have seen ppl intentionally try to lose a game. Hell the only person I have ever see that actually said in chat that he was trying to make his team lose was in one of my friends games. Either I'm incredibly lucky or the amount of trolls of that caliber are so low that the bigger problem would be ppl bm'ing at end game.

I get trolled constantly with people trying intentionally to lose.

Ok let me clear this up. No. You don't

You are one of those people who thinks when someone does bad they are intentionally feeding.

I have been playing this game since season 2 and have encountered maybe 5 real trolls every season who feed intentionally or whatever. Stop exaggerating to make your point. Unless your experience is drastically different than everyone else's you should stop lying for upvotes.

Also, just going through your match history you haven't had one troll in a single game or anybody who fed that hard for that matter besides you.

Darius: 8-17

Lee sin: 10-19

Lee sin: 7-15

honestly i have seen people intentionally feed and not die 19 times in a game. These are the reasons you are bronze

You blame everyone else but yourself. It's you. Not your team

hahahaha, the irony in this is great. I can't explain right now, but you actually just proved my point exactly. i'll be making a post about this soon that will tell all.

In short though, you are absolutely right, you really cant die 19 times without trolling. But i am also right, that people that do it intentionally do not get punished at all.

Either you just admitted that you are trolling or you have no clue what you are even saying at this point. You aren't going to "explain" anything. You sit in bronze because you are bad at the game, not because of other people. I know this because i was you once upon a time. I sat in bronze and had the same mindset.

If you cannot figure out what i meant by that then there is little reason to try to explain further.

Although, I will admit that while trolls exist in great numbers, if you deserve to advance, you can. If you don't belong in bronze it really is pretty easy to carry yourself out.

Yet you still haven't.

Maybe focus on that instead of complaining about things you can't control

The gaming community isn't as young as you might imagine.

I think I've read somewhere that the majority of gamers sit in between mid teens to mid adulthood. But don't quote me on that though.

Average gamer (all gamers not just League players) is around mid-thirties.

That old (no offense to anyone)? Never thought of that before. Good to know.

Personally though I would like to think it's a bit younger than that but oh well.

This is the most recent "report" I could find. Not sure how valid the study is but it's interesting. Looks like it's around 31, so I was off.

Nice. Thanks for the info.

Depends on what you would define as a gamer

Firu1 votes

Of course. I imagine they asked people to self-identify as a gamer or not.

No, you're right. However, the majority of the people that are concerned over "gg ez" in post game lobby are definitely young. Healthy adults don't lose their minds over something as trite as that.

There are systems in place to deal with the issues you state and systems in place to deal with the attitude issues. Riot is also working on both systems constantly. I think you are assuming that one group of people don't think the other is also an issue.

Also, you may want to change your tone in your posts/responses if you want to actually have a dialogue. I understand that you are probably very frustrated but your posts/responses shine a poor light on you. In my opinion.

There are not systems that detect someone following the jungler around and stealing his camps just to BM him actually (or any number of other ways to troll someone on your own team). This is a simple question of allocating resources. Riot only has so much time and so many employees, so if their employees are spending their time trying to make sure every one that says "gg ez" is getting banned, then they aren't spending their time addressing issues that actually affect gameplay.

I agree with your second point though, me being passive aggressive isn't conducive to a discussion. To be fair though, when there is another post every single day with 100 upvotes about how "toxic" it is to say "ez" in a post game lobby, it is pretty obvious that these boards aren't going to be having a rational discussion about it.
