Strangely I didn't get the reward for it, you can check my match history, level 17 means 3 augments equipped [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Yeah tbh it's the only way I found to do it. Others have too much weakness. Basically you stunlock the last boss and he can barely land any skill, added to botrk + IE, he goes down fairly quickly
