You want to get rid of autofill? this is how

Just turn it into the infamous ''duo lane''

Half the farm and xp for both

Riot has such a raging boner for adc's they will surely dump the whole autofill once the adc role becomes threatened

Edit apparently nobody got the hint

i was talking about making a douchemove

you know like how in blind pick people go duo mid because neither will budge and give up mid so they stuck on low gold constantly fighting over cs and xp and everything until one of em tilts and starts feeding

Sadly, ADC and Support will beat alternative duo lanes in the majority of games.

There is a good reason it has been the standard for 5+ seasons.

Actually they won't. They would lose most of them....the reason is the standard is because you can't send the adc anywhere else without risking to become camped. ADC used to be weak early to compensate for their late game potential, so you send him with a babysitter so he can survive the early game that is supposed to be terrible. If you send him mid either mages or assassins will kill him over and over, he can't clear camps to send it jungle plus the gold income is lower, and top will also destroy except by juggernauts and tanks, but even juggernaut can pick them out of position and snowball from there.

SO if you don't send the adc bot you are basically saying you will play without and adc, making turret killing significantly harder late game

ADCs have been picked in top-lane, mid-lane and jungle fairly regularly throughout the previous season.

The main reason they are meta is because it is the most efficient distribution of gold and experience.

  • ADCs are less reliant on experience than most other champions, so they don't mind sharing it with a support.
  • Supports are less reliant on experience and gold than most other champions, so they don't mind the ADC taking all of their gold.
  • The utility provided by supports will always be useful even if they are low on gold and levels.

Alternative lanes generally just provide two underleveled, underfarmed champions. If they don't snowball early, they generally fall off badly in the mid-game and late-game.

Actually that has been true only on season 3 onwards. Season 1 and 2 were different on the meta (specially season 1). Duo mages or mage+bruiser were the standard bot, your adc was sent towards mid and your "support" was on the jungle, jungle were easier to clear so the role with the less gold and experience needed was sent there.

As adc being able to top I can only rememeber 3. Quinn, Vayne and for some time lucian. ADC on mid I remember Ezreal, Corki and Varsus. To lesser extent tristana and ashe. Jungle ADC I can remember twitch and Kindred (but he was meant for jungle), recently graves and quinn.

Is not that this roles benefits them or that they thrill against those types of champions but more that those specific champions have certain strength that made them viable on such roles and not the ADC as a whole.

Try a standard supp+adc versus a mage+bruiser and you will see is really ahrd to win such a lane, you will out scale them pretty easily but the first 8 levels or so you will be running for your life.
