Can we talk about this "Follow your laner" thing

So imagine this. My mid laner walks into jungle. I ping mia, multiple times, and then ping bot danger because that's where they go 90% of the time. I have enough games on my champion to know that I probably can't fight the mid laner solo in jungle untill I get an item or two. What me, as the midlaner, is expecting is for the bot lane to back off which makes the enemies roam almost useless and I get slightly ahead on farm while they miss out on some.

But as I push the wave into tower, I look bot just to see this bloodbath of my adc/support trying to outduel the level 6 whatever alongside the enemy bot lane. It never works out. I have yet to see my bot lane 2v3.

So the glorious enemy double kill sound file plays and I get to be graced by the wonderful text "Wtf mid why didn't you follow her" and that around 15 cs i got means nothing to the 600 gold.

Lets describe another instance. One where I cannot, by any means, stop a roam from my mid. Instances like taliyah or tf for example. These are more frustrating to me because I ping a hell of a lot more telling my bot lane to back off because I can't follow that roam. There's no point because by the time i get there the fight will be over and I can be sure that my bot lane isn't going to do enough damage to taliyah or tf before they get deleted.

The point is that if your mid laner pings SEVERAL times telling you were the enemy mid is going, maybe you shouldn't be shoving the enemy bot lane under tower. Getting caught by a mid lane roam because of insufficient warning from your mid laner is one thing, but waiting for that mid laner to kill both of you so you can flame them is just bull. It's like saying "Oh warwick just killed both of us why didn't you follow him kindred". Another thing is that if you ask your mid laner, you can set up enough wards to warn you in advance even if they forget to ping.

this game is full of people that dont listen. today i jungled... and pinged them off dragon cause i didnt have smite and enemy jungler was on the way.... there jungler comes in and smites it ... then my top laner says " you have one job to smite..." even tho i pinged them off of it cause i didnt have it up even when you inform people its still your fault. love the logic :D

THis one time, I was below 10% health as Kat, and my Yas opponent, above 40% health, is running towards red while I'm recalling, my shaco jg, starts pinging for assistance, even though I'm nowhere near yas anymore, then follows him into their jg, and gets killed 1v3 at their red, then says "Wtf Kat why didn't you come?!" I respond "I said to back off..." him: "I said go in, you fucking troll" me thinking... thank god this yasuo is trash...

i don't want comments from kat players on my christian thread.

but yeah junglers do that sometimes too but not nearly as often. I think people just don't understand how to pick the right fights sometimes.

This is why i ward the river with a pink ward every time. Low elo supports just ward the river bush and not crucial points where they will be able to know like 8 secs prior the enemy mid/jung will arrive. By the time they appear on that bush ward its only 3 seconds until they will get 4-manned.

Climbing as a midlaner is always about how you maintain a position that you can kill or either push hard when the enemy laner leaves. And picking champions that are good at this is crucial.
