Need advice with Kleds bad match ups

Thus far I can stomp/survive most champs with Kled however there are a few chaps that simply leave little room to make things happen or out do me in a 1v1 situation.

I already got most of my flaws worked out: I CS horridly, inconsistently land my Q, don't roam enough, get cocky as f*ck when fed, have meh map awareness and tend to act before I think.

The troublesome lads are; Gangplank He sits out of Q range forcing me to E in first (removing my second E) and oranges mah bear trap to disengage while poking. I've tried to roam but he matches it with ult or ult+summoner 12 Fiora I've killed her 1v1 pre 6 a few times when she misplays (stuffs up her parry) however generally she out trades me and there's nothing that can be done post-6. She engages, ults and I die. When I've attempted to roam, she's teleported in and ulted me for big heals and caused a whole lot of salt from mah team mates Quinn I know she wrecks everyone, but she's in the same bag as GP Swain That dam bird zones for dayz and combined with his DOT, generally allows him to win most trades while mitigating aggression with his snare. Post-6 I just seem like a meat bag for him to feed on, even with executioners calling. Yorick 1. Very few people play him so there're few opportunities to practice the match-up. 2. He starts fat, stays fat and play extremely passive till he has his gouls (crushing the one thing kled's good at, going in). 3. Post-6 1v1's become impossible. And 4. Roams are met with a lost turret in almost every situation.

And just out of curiosity, what's the viability of full AD or perhaps lethality kled? Thinking item 3071 item 3812 item 3748 item 3072 item 3026 and boots. Or item 3814 item 3147 item 3071 item 3748 item 3026 and boots

Any assistance/advice would be awesome

I know full ad or lethality kled is fun and seems like it snowballs but for winning having a couple of tank items seem to work better. Now for the matchups: Gangplank : Relatively easy, his oranges does not cleanse bear trap, and if he zones you with barrels you can e into it and use a w auto to get it faster than most gp's can react if they are below diamond. Once you get level 3 and from there on out you win all in trades if you have your w and a lane to chose him through. The only problem comes when he turtles under turret but then you roam and kill his team. Fiora : Not sure how to win this. Try to bait her parry with your q where you do not go all in. After that q her again and go for an all in. This mainly works before level 6. After that try to roam as much as possible. Your ult has way lower cd than tp. A nice trick is also to stand against a wall to deny her ult heal since she cannot proc the last side. But this is a hard matchup. Quinn : All in from level 3 and up. Use your q to see in which direction she is when she blinds you. A lot is decided on the first all and she has the advantage so possibly call for your jungler to come fast. If you get a kill on her early by ganks or for yourself just snowball on her. Swain : I know a lot of people dislike this but getting a item 3123 as a first item is really big. I have 1v1'ed swain being 1 level and 20 cs down due to that item. The 800 gold is not completely wasted since it gives ad and the gold you get from extra farm and kills more than makes up for the price. Yorick : Not sure, never see him, never played kled against him.

Thanks mate. The tank Items definitely do seem to work better, otherwise skarl disappears and you become insta pop. The few times I've tried I've sold the dmg for beef cos I die so fast.

The Gangplank that use pick pocket just whittle me down with Q til I fall off skarl, then I gotta run through barrels to get them. One's that don't are easier but still a lil tricky.

For Fiora , do you generally lose lane/fall behind?

Never even considered using Q to keep track of Quinn location. Massive thanks for that lil trick [zombie-nunu-hearts]

As for Swain , item 3123 before absolutely anything? So b4 phage/tiamat ect?

The 2 times I've faced Yorick went like this; I land a few Q's at lvl 1 but he's reasonably beefy and shrugs them off or sacrifices a bit of CS to not get poked out of lane. At level 2 I've got QW and he's got QE. I manage to proc the second Q and begin W'ing him. But he summons his minions, E's me and wins the trade (my 4th W hit didn't seem to do that much. He has 4 armour on me from the get go due to his champs stats).

Level 3-5. I discover my E insta kills his gouls, but forget about it for the rest of the game XD. If I hard engage, he gouls, walls me and backs off to tower (I can't use my second dash to escape due to turret agro).

Level 6+ I can't even try to trade, he's got enough CDR from items to have an endless Grave supply for gouls and his ult (I only just read) nulifies the only thing I have on him, the insta kill E and my HP.

The Maiden of the Mist marks her target if they aren't a structure, causing Yorick's next basic attack against them to deal 5 / 7.5 / 10% of target's maximum health bonus magic damage and consume the mark, which she can then reapply after 2 seconds." Upon spawning, the Maiden of the Mist summons 2 / 3 / 4 Mist Walkers by her side, and while she has fewer than 4 under her fold, she raises another Mist Walker every time a nearby enemy dies.

I tried to roam in that game, but my tower was gone before my ult had even started.

Last thing, if you would be so kind <3

I see you start item 1055 . Is there anything specific that makes you choose it over item 1036? Which you could build straight into item 3123 should you need it badly. Is the HP+lifesteal better than the 2 pots+2AD ?

Thanks a bunch for ur time man <3

Yes, unfortunately it is a really hard matchup. I usually try to stay in lane and farm with q for that matchup. It is one of the few where I might go longsword+pots if I think my team has my back and the jungler wont come top.

As for Swain , item 3123 before absolutely anything? So b4 phage/tiamat ect?

Before everything. That item is the single best thing against swain but does nothing against everyone else. If you die before the item and feel you can't even win with it consider dropping it and roaming instead, but that should never happen.

The 2 times I've faced Yorick went like this; snip...

Getting behind on kled always feels bad. That said if yur opponent is predictable in taking all ins calilng your jungler for free kills might be good. Also note that brush drops ghoul agro so that might help in the early levels. Still not sure how I would play it since I never tried it before.

This is mainly a preference thing. Basically item 1055 gives better all in while item 1036 +pots gives better sustain. I usually go for level three all ins on most champions and play really passive until then. This means sacrificing some cs which I could get if I had more pots. I do however get more in the all in and I like the lifesteal a lot for later parts in the game (although that is just a feeling thing and likely not that useful). While item 1036 does give me item 3123 faster there are very few cases where you are going to have 450 g but not 800 g on your first b. If you all in at 3 and it goes somewhat well you either killed him go back and the item 3123 can wait since you are anyway snowballing, he killed you and you will have about 350 g for the item 1036 or you both get low and you try to remount skarl. Once you do, you should have close to 800 g. So in 90% of cases it will not make a difference. But as I said it is mainly a feelings thing and it depends a lot on your playstyle and elo (at high diamond and above you need item 2033 or item 1036 or you might get poked out).

But if you go to the kledmains subreddit I think you will find better kleds than me, so that might be worth a try if you have more questions.

It's gonna be pretty hard to fight Fiora 1v1, her being the best duelist in the game after all.

Early, try to poke her down with Q's, as she can't attack you without drawing minion aggro, and if you don't draw aggro/pull her deeper into your minions, you'll 100% win that trade, perhaps to the point of a kill depending how deep they went.

For GP, stay aggressive if you can, get some sustain to outlast his Q poke (if he's Q'ing you he's not Q'ing the minions), and boots to dodge his E. For this match up, you wanna deny him CS, so zone him off the moment you can 1v1 him inside of his minion wave (as long as it's not too huge). Even if you don't get any kills, you'll still be fine.

Also, I'd imagine he'd have a hard time getting away if you ulted in on him, and thus got in range to use 2 E's. Try that if you think you've the damage to kill him, GP is really squishy, but Oranges are a thing.

Quinn Save your E for after hers, at least one of them (although I believe you don't get the second unless the first one hits?) Dodge the Q if you can, it only Blinds and marks you with her passive if it hits you directly.

Be careful level 1, a good Quinn will sit in bush and Auto(passive)+E+Auto(passive) you the moment you get into range. This does a shit ton of damage, and you should avoid it. Yes, she is burning her E, but you can't engage on her lvl 1, at least not effectively.

At level six you should win the all in, be careful of getting bursted later on though. You're gonna have to ult to engage, unless you can bait out her E.

Swain Get item 3123 once he hits 6, before that it's useless really. Swain does a lot of damage, and you're gonna have to play near perfectly to win an all in at level 6. Dodge his snare with your E, get out of his crow as soon as you can, and be careful, you're still gonna take a ton of damage from his targeted DoT and his R. It'll be fairly close, but you'll win.

Yorick If he's playing passive, deny him minions, and thus ghouls as well as gold.
