An elemental drake for armor and magic resist?

Would this be a good idea? We have a dragon for just about every other stat, so why not one for armor and mr? Another possible suggestion is instead of adding a new type of drake, they could have mountain drake give this. If it's too strong then maybe could slightly nerf the bonus damage to epic monsters and/or towers. Alternatively, they could make it so the storm drake (or whatever it's called) give armor and mr (even though it makes absolutely no sense). Maybe teams would actually prioritize taking it if we increased the benefits.

Make it a % bonus armor/mr increase and not flat. Solves your problem I'm not sure if this is even a good idea tho

Imo it's not. Adding extra defense to squishies is more problematic than adding extra offense to durable people.

I don't know how, all I know is that I've seen the results and it isn't pretty.

It's tanks I'm worried about because it would be a percent, not a flat value. Riot realizes what a flat value would do to carries. Percents, however, are dangerous in regards to tankiness.

While it would be nice to see an actual defensive drake, they will never do it, because it would slow down the game.

Am I the only one more interested in what element of dragon that would be? I mean, mountain would make the most sense with a earth theme, but that is already being used to give a buff on killing towers.

Maybe of we made a lightning drake, then swapped their buffs so the mountain drake gives the defense buff and the lightning drake gives the tower killing buff.

The problem with this is that carries will benefit from this as much as tanks. If this were to happen, I think that it should be "+ __% bonus Armor and MR". That way squishies aren't running around with 40 extra resistances while not having to give up any damage
