Riot did a good job on the last rebalance but we all know that runes need more attention, mana regen, critical damage, critical chance, health regen, spell vamp, energy/energy regen and many other runes need to be buffed/reworked/removed from game. Also i will miss the impact that new masteries caused on other seasons.

JustMyBassCannon1 votesWhile masteries seem to have hit a spot where most of them are worth using in different builds, runes are in an odd spot. There are like three sets per Marks, Seals and Glyphs that are worth using, depending on the champion and build, maybe one set of niche use runes apiece, and then the Quintessences have their own, strange variance.
junglerboy161 votesthey aren't necessarily done with all of the S5 changes, what got onto the PBE last time may have just been the tip of the iceberg and new masteries could still be incoming. Personally, I'm fine with where the defense and offense ones are, but they need to buff the utility tree, only supports benefit from it, instead of having options other roles might want.
