Do the new jungle items fall into the "gold income" item category?

What I mean is can you still not own both a jungle item (ie. Juggernaut) and a support item (ie. Spellthief's) at the same time? Not saying it's a good idea to but just curious if anyone knows if it's possible? Thanks in advance!
