STOP MAKING STUPID THREADS ABOUT DQ. THERE ARE BIGGER PROBLEMS NEEDING TO BE ADDRESSED.

Every god damn day I decide I want to play a couple games, it's the same shit I have to endure. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've been trying to a game for the last hour now but can't due to someone dodging the champ select and a lot of times it happens late in the process. Couple that with the time it actually takes to assemble a team of ten players which averages about 3 minutes and you have a real miserable experience. There are many times I logged in to play and get this experience and eventually give up and go do something else.

I cannot understand why you guys aren't making a billion threads about this like you are with DQ. Fuck DQ, I don't give a fuck about premades. They feed and I win ez all day. Complain about real problems for once please. This dodging problem is far worse than your bullshit complaints about DQ.

As for solutions. I see no reason to drop the entire lobby because one person left. Keep the lobby live and simply replace the leaving player. The nitty gritty details like whether to redo the ban phase or not could be worked out after. Make no mistake, champ select dodges is currently the biggest problem right now. For me it is anyways.

And BTW, the remake feature was a god send in solving another big issue, AFKs at the start of the game. Riot did a good job with this. I hope they can solve this dodging problem too.

Sincerely, no, there are not.

The biggest threat currently to this games long term future is the existence of DQ and the fact that it is driving away players, particularly solo players, which are a requirement for the functionality of the system. DQ is an unsustainable platform that will eventually kill the game if it continues to exist in its current state.

One thing I've noticed about LoL players. They have a godlike talent for finding fault with everyone but themselves. How many times have you ganked top lane as a jungler the same time bot lane feeds a double. We've all had that experience where its somehow our fault. "Report noob jungle. No ganks". They over extended and died yet somehow, you way up at top lane is somehow at fault. DQ is the same shit which is why I never take DQ hate threads seriously.

The average LoL player believes he is stuck in Bronze, Silver, Gold, or whatever tier because of trolls, afks, feeders, 4 man premades, broken champs(Zed, Fizz, Yas, Azir etc). I have been around LoL players long enough to know how they think. Nothing is ever their fault. Every death in a game is because the jungle didn't gank or mid didn't roam. They are 0-5 because Zed is broken and unfair. This is the average LoL player. He is perfect, it's someone else's fault he is failing.

Lemme tell you why all this DQ hate is bullshit. I've played in a fuck tonne of premades. 95% of the people on my friend list added me after one stellar performance. It's like people believe I can go 20-2 every game and I'm the secret weapon that's gonna help them climb. I suspect the vast majority of premades are created this way. One guy goes legendary, racking up a tonne of kills, several tripples and everyone adds him after expecting him to do this shit every game. I cannot tell you how many times I gave a superb performance only for us to queue up together again and fail miserably. I might go 24-4 and totally smash the enemy team and the next game I get totally shat on.

The point I'm trying to drive home is that the premades are overrated. In fact, they are a hindrance. I stopped ranking with premades altogether because of the high rate of failure. Premades usually result in me having to play roles I'm not as confident in and I used to think I can rely on the other playing my roles to play it well enough to carry me and I try to make myself carriable by not feeding but it hardly ever works out. Its far better to solo and always get your best roles and carry strangers. This is why I said I don't give a shit about premades. I play against premades all the time and they are hardly every spectacular. DQ hate is total bullshit, just another scapegoat like junglers for players to blame their failure on.

If I ganked top lane, a lane that doesn't matter (any time after 3:30-4 minutes into a match), and bot lane got wiped then guess who's fault it is... Mine, as the jungler. For a strategic misplay. Can it also be bot lanes fault for a tactical misplay? Yes. Doesn't change the fact that my showing on the map top side allowed the opposing team to be aggressive on the bottom half of the map. This is basic fundamental stuff.

Low level players do tend to think this. It has no bearing on what myself and other diamond level players think about DQ. We literally do not care about that particular argument. What we care about is the competitive integrity of our matches which has suffered considerably this season.

If you are of the opinion that anything you state in these two paragraphs is accurate (and I'll admit I stopped reading half way through em because they seemed absurd) then that is your opinion. It's incorrect, but I respect your right to express it.

DQ is the reason why queues are so long. Its not just premades that people hate, its how long the damn queue times are. I normally have like a minute queue before DQ, now I am sitting there for 10 minutes atleast waiting to get a game, unless I put Jg/Mid, when I normally put Mid/JG

Actually, its the support role that causes long wait times. I was a team builder junkie and TB used to have dreadfully long queue times. Mostly waiting for a support and jungle. You could have gotten a game in 2 seconds queueing as support on TB and it's the same with the new champ select.

Oh... So the removal of Solo/DuoQ and replacement with some garbage that is ruining the whole competetive aspect of the game is nothing...

But Games being dodged is the real isssue here! Thank you for opening my eyes, XelNiya! I think i finally have discovered my problems with this game since Season 6 thanks to you!

It wasn't DynamicQ all the time, the real reason why i don't enjoy the game as much as i used to do is Dodging in Champ Select!!! Finally I could realise that... THANK YOU!!

Dude if have to spend the majority of my time praying someone doesn't dodge the champ select after waiting 5 minutes to get a full lobby, why the fuck should I complain about DQ. The majority of my times is spent actually trying to get a game.

I played this game before DQ and I have played it after DQ, no fuckin difference. In fact, last season I was struggling on the ladder and I've done a lot better this season. You guys spew all this bullshit on the boards about DQ. Explain to me why I was struggling last season, and I've done better this season. If you can explain this to me, I would give an ear to your problems with DQ. Oh, and here's the kicker, I play solo only on the ladder.

Shadòw1 votes

Because the Problems of the Queue are not my performance.

I only play Solo/Duo too and are higher Ranked than last season, Rank isn't my Problem at all. Simply the fact that Solo and Premade skill get mixed into one Queue with one Rank is BS to me.

waiting 5 minutes to get a full lobby, why the fuck should I complain about DQ

well.. DynQ and NCS are the REASON why Queue times are that long.

And the dodges... i don't even know what you are talking about. None of like my last 20 Ranked-Games were dodged. Maybe your toxic attitude is what makes your teammates not even want to play with you in the first place?

If you're just going to make blind assumptions maybe you should avoid speaking in the 1st place. STFU. Thx.

You just proved my point. Thx.

You made an assumption that I was being toxic which means you are not actually interested in a civil conversation hence, you're just flamebaiting. I don't want to speak to you. So please, stfu.

Shadòw1 votes

But you still do speak to me...

And, like I said... you just proved my Point that you are just a toxic kid. You probably have the same attitude in Champ Select already.. no wonder so many of your Games get dodged.

Schàdenfreude1 votes

Guys, Riot hasn't actually released statistics on how many people have DQ badges vs SQ... maybe when that happens all the people who complain will shut up.

FioraWillCarry1 votes

As of right now, I haven't gotten a game yet. Makes it two hours. Queue wait times now are averaging 10 minutes. It's rarely this bad but it has happened on more than one occasion.
