Minion speed change ruins late game

I understand my team is behind I understand I got smashed but to have 8 super minions in your base and 10 coming through lanes to base and baron is up. If enemy team so chose to get it at this point you can not stop them or rotate out. (this must be what riot meant by decisive wins. ) It is at the point that getting an inhibitor in one lane forces an opponent or player there. If you get two inhibitors the opposing team can not contest an objective. Preseason confuses me.

There is no way to I see that allows you to push the lane out and then rotate out to objective without having the supers pushing faster.

Also regular minion pressure just allows enemy team to trap you in base if they are ahead.

i already thought superminion waves were unfun and straight up annoying to deal with, now they proceed to straight up buff em and seal your fate.

what's up next, superminion easily getting pentakills?

That's...sort of...the whole point. The whole point of inhibs is that each is worth a player. That's why inhibs are a top priority objective, it denies other objectives.

Yes but in comparison to last season if your inhibitor was down you could push the wave out and then rotate out but with the minion changes you are forced to stay in the lane.

Well, not only the minions, but this supposed artificial elongation of laning with the turret armor doesn't seem to change much to me. Games still seem to happen just as quickly as they did before the preseason, and the turret armor only seems to add more options for snowballing, combined with the new bounty system that gets you a bounty for doing normal game things. Overall, this preseason is a huge dud and a huge letdown, it doesn't actually seem to fix any of the problems that have been talked about, and in a lot of cases, it exacerbates too many existing problems.

Yes the turret plating was put into to stop snowballing by elongating lane phase as you said but the fact the economy is so misbalanced on the turret plating it causes a harder snowball.

From what I have personally seen so far, if you have 3 inhibs down, you are never able to leave base. Let's use an example.

It is 35 minutes into the game. Red side has taken every turret up to the inhibs, but no inhibs themselves. Blue side has taken every turret up to inhibs and all 3 inhibs. Both teams are relatively even in regards to gold and kills. Which side will have more map pressure? Blue, obviously, but by how much?

This is where the problem arises. By the time Red side has cleared all 6 super minions and their proceeding minions, the next wave has already arrived. Before, you could clear the wave and you'd have about 20-30 seconds maximum to look for something on the map (a teamfight, small objective, etc.), now you don't have that opportunity. You are forced to turtle to survive, and during that time, Blue side can take Elder/Baron or wait for the minions to stack so fast that they can run in the chaos to end the game. They have way more time to make decisions than Red does. Even with the even kills and gold, you still are at a massive disadvantage, more so than you should be even if they have all 3 inhibs.

If your team has gotten all 3 inhibs, you should be at an advantage over the enemy, you did the work and earned a reward. But the enemy should also be able to turn that around depending on how behind they are. If they are even with each other, that turn around should be much easier, but it isn't.

Just my thoughts. Take it as they are. <3

Just play the best shredder of super minions, AP Varus

With all due respect, this game is over. There is absolutely no chance of you winning. You have all three inhibitors down. With one down, I would say you could make an argument.
