Why am I so bad at ranked??!!

So i recently hit level 30 (finally) and i was super excited to play ranked games for the first time. I actually ended up winning my first game, so of course that made me think that i could actually survive in ranked. But ever since that game it has gone incredibly downhill. I have barely gotten 150 cs a game as a mid or top, i am ALWAYS negative when referring to KD ratio, and literally everyone who i am playing with is hating on me because i am actually terrible. Has this happened to anyone else? i was pretty good i think when i played the regular games (un-ranked) but as soon as i get in to ranked i start performing as bad as i ever have in my entire career of league. Frankly, idk what the problem is... i have lost around 10 or so in a row now and i believe that the source of my team losing is me and i seriously need help. Everyone seems to outplay me, no matter their rank. I used to be able to stick with silvers and even a couple of golds, but now bronzes kick my ass. Can anyone please help me?! I will take all the advice i can get. Also if anyone has any champion suggestions for me on which champ climbs the best and has a relatively good win rate please let me know as well. Thanks

P.S. after i finished my first 10 placement games in ranked it actually placed me in Silver V for some reason... so i continued to think that i could do well in ranked, but i couldnt. Is it my lack of skill/knowledge of the game? Are the opponents really so much better than me? Mix of both? Anything helps

Ranked game atmospheres are much different then normals games, everybody is taking the game 100 percent serious and playing their best champs. Also placements just started so you are likely going against a lot of smurfs

So do you suggest going to regular blind pick matches with new champions and seeing which one i like the best and just constantly playing him/her and then taking it to ranked? Like i need to perfect my skills with a certain champ first

I would recommend picking 3-4 of your favorite champions and mastering them instead of playing different champs every game. Also, Watch high elo streamers and listen to the advice they give

I just looked at the summaries for your past few games and while I'm not someone who is high elo, I can tell you a few things that I think will go a long way to help you hold your own in ranked.

First, just because you can play ranked, doesn't mean you're ready. People make this mistake all the time and destroy their MMR. Stop and work on your skills in normal drafts till you feel like you're carrying fairly consistently without dying.

Also, you die a lot. I mean A LOT. Instead of putting the emphasis on getting kills, put the emphasis on not dying. Say you get a solo kill but die diving bot 2v1. You've picked up 300 gold for yourself and given the enemy team 300 gold to the person who got the kill and 150 gold for the assist. So in essence you haven't even traded evenly. On top of that, their bot lane was given 450 gold that your bot lane didn't, so youve just made the other team significantly stronger against the rest of your team as well. This also hasn't even looked at what youve lost in taking the time to gank. Did you just loose a lot of CS? Thats gold and XP. 17ish CS = 1 kill.

Brings me to my next point: farming. Learn to CS efficiently and farm efficiently before you worry about getting kills. If you spend an hour just practicing last hitting minions, you will be a much b etter player at league. After that, go into norms and practice minion wave management, exploiting laning mistakes, and increasing your CS differential by not only farming well yourself but zoning and freezing.

Thats where I'd start if I were you. Hopefully that helps.
