Is Ahri ever getting looked at?

I mean, i can't be the only one who finds simply absurd that Ahri has consistently been the best midlaner for soloQ by far, hovering around absurd winrates such as 54-55% for 7 months straight while having a really high pickrate.

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?roleSort=Middle&sortBy=general.winPercent&order=descend

Look at her pickrate, i mean 3rd highest winrate as midlaner with 18.14% pickrate?

http://champion.gg/champion/Ahri/Middle players who try her for the first 1-5 times consistently win 52% of the games?

How is this situation healthy in any way?

This has been the case for 7 months already (after her """"compensation buffs"""" she skyrocketed to fucking 58% i mean....), and she didn't even need the compensation buffs in the first place since she had Luden's echo instead of DFG anyway

Seriously this situation is getting absurd.

They simply gave her a way to almost never die if you have any knowlage of the game at all. Her ult is three flashes that do dmg, and hr Q gives her sustain and Speed boost. The speedboost isnt needed... that is the only thing i see in her, too much mobility.

Ahri's just a safe pick. She can safely play from behind although definitely not as effective, can snowball like anyone else, and has tools to both secure kills and provide peel. Imo, she's an example of a balanced champion. She has good burst, which can be avoided 100%, and an ult that is multipurpose but can lose battles if used improperly. She has risks and she has rewards but neither really out way the other.

Ahri having huge winrate doesn't mean anything

Zyra or Sona having high winrates means they are good

make up your fucking mind boys

when you add stuff like champion dificulty, popularity, winrrates over all leagues, winrates based on the amount of games played by a player then add counterpicks and how often said champion is countered or gets countered etc

you get a ton of data that makes itself useless

thats why the winrate argument will never be a valid one unless we are speaking about champions who get trully insane winrates like 58% and higher and said champion is popular

winrate argument just makes no sence because winrate doesnt represent champions power ... its always distorted by some other factors

then i'll add some other factors

PERMAPICKED in ANY competitive meta since her release HUGE winrate in such metas STILL picked after 4 years STILL relevant HUGE soloQ winrate HUGE pickrate

Ahri is NOT a balanced champ, has NEVER been and will never be if they don't drastically gut her like she deserves since her release (and i own 2 skins)

There's no gap between her abilities where she's exposed long enough to be killed or even harmed at all. Q - move speed E - "fuck your gap closer" - low R - just lol.. Zhonya.. How any meele champ is supposted to even touch her? Ungankable, safe as fuck pice of shit.

She is the champ who literally represents Korea, even her name was chosen by the Korean players when she was still in the development phase.

And Koreans are LoL's biggest money maker.

Go figure the rest.

I don't think I'd mind Ahri if her heal didn't bring her to full hp every goddamned time. If that was removed from her kit, she'd probably be less cancerous. Force her to build a Will of The Ancients for spell vamp, rather than letting a linear skill shot regen her to full HP every time she uses it.

If you look at her winrates, you'll see her winrate with experienced palyers is around 56%, which is strong but not out of the ordinary for experienced players on a champion. However what is abnormal is her winrate on someone who has never played her before. Its above 50%. What this suggests is not that Ahri is overpowered, but that she is simple to use. Which would explain why she can have a high pickrate and a high average winrate.

If you really want to see a champion with huge winrates mid, check this guy out.

They have looked at her. She is allowed to be strong because she is mobile.
