Poppy's rework was a failure

She has the worst win rate of any champ (OK I lied Rumble and Azir have worse win rates. But she's not too far behind them.) I don't care what anyone says about her old kit. Her win rate was below 50% even with her old "no counterplay" ult. People forget that it was possible to QSS her old ult, and she would lose the damage increase against her target. If you can QSS a Zed ult, why can't you QSS a Poppy ult? It's really not that hard. Please just revert the Poppy rework. She was better in her old state.

champion.gg hasnt updated this winrate, so you're looking at about 3 days into her release, poppy actually has a winrate of about 49.8 in top and 50.1 in jungle, or vice versa, probobly one of the most balanced releases riots ever done. and I was a guy complaining that she was underpowered until I got the hang of her over almost 40 games. now, now its a wonderful time. really get adjusted to her kit.

So fucking what? All that implies is that she needs buffs. It doesn't say shit about whether or not the rework was successful, because there hasn't been enough time to properly balance her after it was reworked.

Reworking is only meant to correct design problems. It is not intended to make a champion strong, weak, or balanced. It is only for putting them into a state where they can be balanced without breaking the game or being extremely obnoxious. A champion's balance state immediately following the rework means literally nothing for the successfulness of the rework.

She has lower win rate because MUCH more players play her now (b4 only the poppy main were playing her)

**And her rework and visual update ARE AWESOME, she is a REAL yordle now unlike those 3 VISUALLY OUTDATED YORDLE Teemo Veigar Kennen **

you do know that male yordles and female yordles are very different visual wise right?

you cannot QSS a knock up why would you be able to QSS poppy's ult which is essentially a knock up?

The old poppy's ult being able to be QSS'd doesn't really matter since the broken part of that ult wasn't the damage amp (which is the only thing you could qss) but the broken part of it was the Invulnerable to everything else besides the target. No one built a qss against old poppy because it just wasn't the reason why she was bs.

The new Poppy is great and imo successful. She is fair with a lot of counterplay, she is really strong in the right hands and takes some skill to play unlike her old kit. Also don't forget that she actually has mana and can use skills, and not go OOM in only 2 skills in laning phase this time. If she is weak, then they'll buff her some time (though I feel she's actually balanced atm). But the main reason why they changed her was to make her a more fair kit to fight which in the end allows them to balance her the right way.

Poppy's new kit is amazing. The only failure is her lore and personality not preserving the grumpy-cute aesthetic she was known for even though Riot once said they recognized that appeal and wanted to keep it.
