Why does Kindred get an AoE Kayle ult with a heal?
Just wondering.
Just wondering.
Because it also gives the enemy the same treatment
It's not an AOE Kayle ult or an AOE Tryndamere ult. Why do people keep saying these things?
Because it technically is an AOE Trynd ult. It makes it so that your health can't drop below critical levels and everyone inside gets healed at the end. Trydamere's makes it so his health can't drop below 1, and he almost always uses his W to heal immediately afterwards.

Err...except that both Trynd's ult and Kayle's ult are designed to allow you to survive while you kill others. That really isn't the function of Knidred's ult since it benefits enemies as well. It's purely a defensive ability where those can be used offensively.
I wasn't comparing it to Kayle's, hers is different. And you can still kill with it if you play it right. If you're a champ with range, just back up so they're out of the zone then snipe them from range. It's targeted so it follows you. Yeah Kindred's is much more for defensive purposes but you can't say Trynd doesn't use his solely to survive instead of gets kills half the time.
I don't think it moves with you does it? are you 100% sure about it?
Ok, I just checked that and I was wrong. It does not move with you, my mistake.
No problem just seeking
:))
The uses/purpose is different. But the effect is still very much similar to Trynd's ult. Stop splitting hairs.

Tryndamere actually get a small heal after his ultimate, not including his W.
I believe he has to be at 1 health for this small heal, but it's been a while since I've read up anything on this subject.
The core gameplay reason is that Kindred needs gold-independent power, otherwise they'd run the risk of snowballing far too hard either way and becoming either OP or useless depending on their early performance. Other than that, it makes sense for a champion to have a good tower-diving ability as a roamer/jungler, it's thematically consistent with Lamb's mini-theme of peace and delaying death, and it's a unique effect that provides a ton of new gameplay for both allies and enemies.
Why is Janna so safe that building Mejais is actually encouraged and core.
