what if sightstone gained a "stack" every time you placed a ward

stacks would promote placing wards and one stack could do different things like give health/armor or mana or maybe it could give tenacity?

Sounds like a great idea until you realize you can place unlimited wards in the fountain which means unlimited stats.

Other items have Cooldown in the internally so they could just copy that. Make it so only every 30 seconds or something.

As Maokai said, that would promote dropping wards in worthless spots just for the bonus. If people don't want to drop wards, they can stay in Bronze until they figure it out.
