When will Akali receive her quality of life buff?

Quite some time ago, Akali was nerfed in a way that wasn't really, actually, a nerf. They just made her SUPER clunky by forcing her to auto attack to proc her Q, when before all she had to do was use her E or another ability other than her W. Most assassins that build AP, they don't want to just AA because for one, they don't build attack speed. And for two, they drop their load and then try to get out alive. I pretty much stopped playing Akali since then, just because of the fact that I don't really like playing clunky champions.

I enjoy playing something as smooth as caramel than as something clunky as all hell. Honestly, the balancing team really confuses me- Akali is one of those champions that have so much counterplay on the table, however so much "OP" power for lower elo that don't know how to buy pink wards. I don't think she is UP or OP, I just want her to have her kit as it was when she wasn't so facking clunky.

Anyone else ever noticed the so called cry for being super overpowered champions tend to be majorly towards mana'less champions? (Yasuo and Akali and even sometimes Zed to be specific), Cause i'm very sure that phone has been ringing for years for so very long. Might as well just remove the non'mana mechanics on champions and force them all to be mana champions, very least a universal factor would make it less troublesome to balance them properly (Mana efficency for one thing which we've seen to be a good deciding factor to make people lose lanes, be forced to retreat from a fight or even become extremely less useful because they burned up the mana resource too easily). It would probably even help to force tilt 'tank building champions', because they will actually need to invest partially or a good amount into Mana so they aren't screwed after 2 or 4 full combo attacks.

Of course its more of a joke, but it still rings quite a bit of truth in the end, Major mechanic differences tend to screw fair'ness in any match up.

Majorly towards manaless champions? In the last several months most of the OP posts I've seen have been about Darius Gangplank Illaoi Irelia Ekko Taliyah TahmKench Viktor Fizz Fiora All of which use mana, there's the occasional Akali, Zed, Yasuo, and Riven posts, but the majority are geared towards FoTM buffed champions the majority of which happen to be using mana as their resource.

Besides all of that how is that even halfway relevant towards the original post of Akali having insane sticking power and stupid amounts of damage while being primarily built as a tank.

Yeah i see what you're saying tbh.

But akali in her own sense is broken because her base damage is so high that she doesnt need to build damage to do any, and her ult is poorly designed. 3 point and click dashes that can proc a leblanc mark... its pretty sad

Get on the league client and prove to me that she can 100-0 people with just a ghostblade (gunblade?) I will take you in lane and show how how to deal with it. You have absolutely no validity with what you are saying because you don't know top lane, and you don't know mid lane. And you sure as hell don't play Akali, period. You don't even play jungle, you just one trick one fucking role- if you play ANY role besides adc, you feed your heart out. It is obvious the blatant bias.

Edit Also, after he first item powerspike. Because obviously she will be able to 100-0 people if she is an assassin.

Akali has a sunfire cape, revolver and sorcer boots. Continues to 100-0 an ashe in 2 seconds.

There is your proof.

Also me saying you cant escape with ghostblade heal flash and net was referring to playing caitlyn. You cannot escape an akali even if you ( the adc ) had all those items.

Since when does akali have ''net'' do you read?

Asking for Akali buff? What a time to be alive

Well from my understanding, Akali is an assassin, and the assassin rework will be here in the preseason (a couple months from now) so maybe she'll get a few small changes and potential buffs.

Rito Gums1 votes

there is no way they give this unhealthy champion any buffs, she just kills you in 2 seconds with a huge range ult so you cant even escape from her

Cubíx1 votes

Well, with a few changes they may give buff and nerfs to make her healthier. that was the whole point of the assassin rework, to make them healthier as a class,

"This champion is busted af"

item 3123 item 3165 item 2043

No but seriously, buffing this part of Akali doesn't make her any stronger than she currently is; it just makes her more enjoyable to play and less clunky of a champion. What you are all bitching about right now is literally somebody requesting that Anivia gets a buff (she already has ludicrous damage.) to her auto attack (her auto attack is literally as bad as Karthus) and then somebody else saying "You can't buff her like that, she would be too strong!" when in reality, the buff wouldn't make her any stronger or weaker as a champion. It would just make her more enjoyable to play as a whole.
