Each time this champ somehow gets through the banning phase, I ask myself this very question. Why does he have a double crit passive and why does windwall exist?
This champion is the incarnation of cancer, and yet he's allowed to function - Why?

Or let it through until you learn the match up and can deal with the champ.

The fact that the ONLY counterplay to yasuo is teamwork more than proves that he is toxic and unfair. If that is the metric we are using to determine balance, then these types of champions should not be allowed in solo/duo queue since you do not have a full team to beat them with, and cannot queue with one.

Agreed. He simply has way too much to work with for it to be fair to lane against him.
Yes I understand unemployed nerds that practice this game 12 hours a day don't have issues with him... but for probably over half of the champions in league, Yasou is simply broken... passive shield/windwall/poke/auto crits/dashes/limitless energy... maybe nerf 1 of these things and he is possible to lane against.
And yes, I get you can counter Yasou, but even then it isn't a complete counter. Garen has the edge on Yasou but it isn't as big of a landslide as it is when you match Yasou up against half of the champions in League. And you don't always have the luxury of picking after your lane opponent... so for me he is a perpetual ban, every game, no exceptions.

But he's not getting changed for a little while at least, so the best thing we can do in this moment is learn how to outplay him.

Like... unless the guy has a 100% winrate and is ALWAYS picked in Worlds you can't even come close to calling him broken. You as a player probably only liked ranged champions or something. Maybe it's because most ranged champs are female? Are you a support main or something? If that's the case yes... Yasuo will shit on you like he's supposed to.

They were interested in the mechanic (braum has something similar) and figured a melee skirmisher would be a good choice to have it.

. I see good rivens beat good yasuos most of the time too, he has more counterplay than just team work. People will probably downvote me out of salt/circlejerk but people act like yasuo walks into lane as a god with 100% crit and blows up everything in 1 hit and takes no skill. Put an urgot on yas and watch him shred him to death like urgot does to any melee champ early on. Put malz on yasuo and shred him.

Magikae1 votesYasuo isnt unkillable, he, like every other champion has counterplay. There are things you can buy to counter him, ie ARMOR, everyone forgets about armor these days and its one of the things that are most important. Also there are ways to bait his wall, Act like youre going to use your shit on him and walk closer to make him use it and then proceed to attack with all your shit. Also use cc on him in teamfights your team can shit on him if he is cc'd
