Need help trying to play other roles

For some reason, I can't seem to learn to play any roles well except for support, and I'm still working on jungling. I play top and lose the lane seemingly no matter what, and same goes for mid and bot. Like just last night I played Jinx bot and got destroyed by Nami and Ashe. They also had a Diana literally camping our lane, and our jungler never ganked. I only seem to win when I'm jungling with Kindred or Heca/WW, or support as Tahm/Thresh/Galio, but everyone else I just do terrible at. Why can't I learn to play these other roles?

How's your CSing? That is something supp/jg don't really do, but is the most important part of the game for laners.

it's not very good, i'm good at making sure my teammate can CS and good at securing kills when we get the level lead in lane as a support. but being the adc myself i suck. like as tahm i'll harass with q when they step out of line, sometimes harass with W, and stack the cannons

Take the champions you already know...and play them in a solo lane. Like Galio, for instance, can safely be taken top or mid ("safely" as in your team won't assume you're trolling, like if you take Thresh top...which is also viable if you know what you're doing lol). If you take a champion you're already comfortable playing into the solo lane, then you don't have to worry about also learning the champion, you just have to work on solo lane things (keeping track of the junglers, farming, trades, roaming, etc.)

Like, I'm a Sona main, started as a Sona support main because I was really bad at League and bad at solo lanes. I took Sona top and mid (and ADC, those were the days) and that's how I learned the other lanes. And then I picked up champions for those lanes that I thought looked fun and easy to play.

It can come with experience, but with bot lane, it comes with knowing what you have to do when you play into certain champs, such as ashe, you have to try and mitigate the poke you let her do to you and poke her when she goes for minions, and I personally wouldn't recommend Jinx as a starting AD, but it seems like you enjoy more of the utility beefy kinda supports and junglers and with that in mind, i would personally recommend Ezreal, as you can build Iceborn and the such to get a little bit of sustain, but he is kinda matchup dependant, as well as he somewhat needs a communication between the Ez and a playmaking support, such as naut thresh etc. So essentially you poke until they are able to be killed, then flash in.

ya I love supports, tahm is fun. I like thresh support and even play galio support too. I really want to get bard though, he seems super fun

That's a good idea, because even though it sounds troll, I have had good results with playing Bard mid which could be a good starting point for your midlaning!

Bard mid actually isn't bad, he's got good roaming skills. I've seen ever higher MMR (gold/plat) play it

Considering you main support(as I once did) try playing jungle, jungle shen is pretty much a 2nd support, or Ivern(if you can) otherwise, just try to have fun! you can get better instantly, you learn as you go!

I have played jungle, I like it. I like kindred, zac, and hecarim jungle. I played warwick too, but didn't like him as much
