i think i just figured out what makes poppy so frustrating to lane against.

9/10 times her shield actually lands on the ground, it lands right next to a fucking wall.

like every 5 minutes it lands in the center of the lane where you can finally try to contest it so you can follow up with a trade. the rest of the time she keeps picking it up for free, because youd get your face smashed in if you tried to go for it.

if you want to nerf something in her kit, you dont even need to reduce the shield timer. just reduce the frequency at which it lands next to walls.

Riot Sotere confirmed on one of my posts about Poppy that she is up for nerfs next patch. Her shield duration is being reduced at early levels and her ultimate damage.

i dont think her shield duration needs to be reduced if she wasnt almost always guaranted to get it for free.

if theyd change it a bit not to land so close to walls that often, but maybe 50% of the time instead of 90% of the time, you could counterplay the thing.

what is frustrating is her E being a 2 seconds stun at all ranks

Her E is 2 seconds stun only at rank 5, and her kockback range is only 300.

I think that OP might be closer to truth.

Although IMO she just gets to tanky too fast when shield combines with permanent bonus resistances.
