Immobile mage update....

Will probably mean removing immobile mages and giving them mobility, but I really hope not.

I LOVE the immobile mage class for the very reason that I'm beginning to hate the rest of the game, because its tactical rather than reflex based. I don't want to play street fighter or super smash bros, those games are fun, but League is supposed to be about tactics. Positioning, mana and CD management, and watching for the opportunity to gain the upper hand. I love how immobile mages force you to think, rather than having several get of jail free cards at their disposal.

So please Riot, emphasize their tactical advantages and don't make them mobile, and dont give them tools that allow them to make huge tactical mistakes without repercussions.

An immobile mage should have range and damage that is unrivaled. ADC's do damage to structures like no one else, but mages should do damage to champions like no one else. They can be aoe, single target, or cc based, and I'm fine if literally every ability becomes a skillshot, as long as their tactical identities are maintained, and they are the damage powerhouses they are supposed to be.

But i swear riot, if Xerath and Velkoz come out of this rework with dashes, I won't be playing anymore.

I don't see how they could rework the immobile mage group and give them mobility. What they probably want is to diversify the field a little so that there is a reason to pick Xerath over Vel'Koz. They'll probably pick four or five with tweaked gameplay updates and dink around with the numbers for the rest of the group to keep things balanced.

Like I could see them giving Viktor the Corki treatment in which he builds Ability Power but deals hybrid damage. Tuning Ziggs numbers to make him more about control and zoning than pure damage.
