Balance changes are minimal right now

Who's surprised?

This actually isn't a "Oh the balance team is so dumb lel" post, this is a "This patch was poorly timed" post.

To break it down:

The biggest, most game-changing patch of League was released 12 days ago, bringing in the largest balancing workload to exist for this game. When this patch got dropped off, Riot had:

2 and a half weeks before Thanksgiving.

Another 3 weeks until Christmas.

2 weeks until New Years after that.

All holidays take place on week days this year, and oh what a joy, you picked the busiest period of the year to drop the largest balancing load on yourselves while also having the least amount of days possible to put into balancing the game.

You also have more game modes dropping that will need balancing on top of this and a new champ at the exact same time as the update to try and figure shit out with, as well as fixing various bugs and otherwise that would increase workload further.

Wouldn't it have been smarter to wait until January to do all of this, considering January is one of your driest months out of the year for content? Like, you would have basically nothing to worry about but fixing your broken ass game at that point. You would be dedicated to balancing things out. You wouldn't have to be juggling 25 different things at once and completely lose track of half of the important shit that needs to be done, and the game wouldn't be such a slaughter-fuck-fest for so damn long.

Honestly, who was the one that looked at the workload schedule, looked at the update, and said, "Yeah, these two should mesh just fine together. Players will be ecstatic."

And here, I'll even speak a language that you guys understand much clearer: Why oh why would you piss off a large portion of your player-base two and a half weeks before one of the biggest money-spending days of the year? And why would you risk keeping them pissed off through the largest capitalistic holiday of the year?

Riot wont nerf or buff stuff even if they are underpowered or overpowered. They will leave things as is unless they are really out of line. Look at Ez, 57% winrate with over 30% pickrate. He is picked now in Mid, Jungle, and AD role. No nerfs in sight

Riot will wait till lcs
