I play a lot of brand and Vel'koz and honestly none of the runes feel right too me. arcane comet just feels weird on a burst mage. summon aery is dog shit now. and phase rush is ight.
I don't know why I hate them I just do they feel wrong to me.

It's super OP, and hexflash is great on brand and velk.

No, they're taking it because it is too good for lane. Comet makes poke too good, Manaflow erases the issue of OOM, Celerity gives free movespeed which is busted and Scorch gives more damage in laning.
The tree isn't fair.

arcane comet doesn't feel impactful at all. It hit people and does minimal damage.
