Why does everyone say Teemo is garbage outside of laning phase?

The amount of bullsh*t I see on these boards never ceases to amaze me. His shrooms can still 2 shot anyone who isn't a tank, and the cooldown on them is extremely short. He also has an infinite amount of magic damage. Unlike other abilities that deal magic damage, Teemo NEVER has to spend mana to use his 'e'. Also blind will NEVER be useless. One of the best cc's in the game no mater what stage of the game it is. I've had games where Teemo fed his @ss off all game, and his damage was still off the charts at the end of the game just because of how insane his base damage and scaling is. You should be thankful Riot hasn't nerfed him harder instead of complaining about how "useless" he is.

Teemo goes from having a decent early by harassing 90% of the melee champs to becoming a joke. Mid and late game he will never be able to reach an enemy adc to burst them, and even if he does, adcs have scimitar so you have to wait 8 seconds until your q is back. The problem is that adcs kill you in less time than that.

Yes, the gunblade, q, auto with lichbane is ridiculously bursty, but occassions in which you actually manage to burst someone are rare if the enemy has a brain. And about shrooms, unless you have control wards or a ward detector, you don't walk away from your team. Easily dodged.

Now the frozen mallet attack speed build... he has splitpushing potential and not really much more.

You don't even have to burst people though. And even someone who "has a brain" will still end up eating tons of poke from his 'e' and shrooms. Like I said the damage and scaling from these abilities is so stupidly high that Teemo's damage is never irrelevant. He always contributes meaningful damage to his team no matter how hard he feeds. The cc from the blind is always there, and it's NEVER useless at any stage in the game (especially considering it's point and click).

His damage doesn't stop being relevant, hos ability to apply it does.

Much like Lee Sin, Trundle, Udyr, Olaf, Nidalee - they don't fall off because their damage scaling is low, they fall off because they can't approach a death all of 5 people with two tanks bodyblocking and peeling, a mage shitting out aoe poke, a support spamming shields and heals, and an adc annihilating anyone that gets close.

Teemo's Shrooms/Passive have the potential to get him in on poorly coordinated, low level teams, but a proper teamcomp that knows how to love across the map will render him useless at 3 items.

but.. teemo is late game champion actually.. because when full build = 1k + dmg on shrooms , 900+ dmg on Q 250+dmg E

Yeah, that's a ton of damage. So is the 3,020+ Lee Sin can do with 350 ad, the 2,491+ Nidalee can do with 500 AP...but raw ratios aren't all that's needed to function late game. The ability to actually get in range to hit the enemy team and do damage matters a LOT, and so, none of them are late game champs.

Ok you guys clearly have no idea what you're talking about. He gets free wards, amazing damage, and one of the best kinds of cc in the game. He is one of the strongest top laners in the game right now. OP.gg shows him as having at least 52% win rate everywhere from plat on up.

Champions with no mobility or CC easily gets fucked in any team fight at higher elos because you're not providing anything for your team.

Also he only has a 5% play rate so the only people probably playing him are his main also I don't see 52% says 50% http://na.op.gg/champion/teemo/statistics/top also League of graphs has him at 49% Plat+ (NA).

Teemo can do one thing, Kite. Tank itemization against him is strong and not to mention he has no role in a team fight other then attempt to blind the ADC or kite out tanks, which doesnt work out well due to heal meta.

Temmo isn't good, when he is good he is oppressive and warps the top lane meta, which is why he is always nerfed when meta.
