Lets Put the nail in the coffin for Master Yi

I just made a comment on a thread for what should be a nerf for Master Yi, now before you downvote me to oblivion, please read it as I wanted to just share my final thoughts and what should be done to him.

"Yi won't get a nerf for awhile, he's had several.

In my opinion, his ultimate shouldn't have resets practically on assists or kills, the duration goes up for each, so he can ultimate throughout the entire fight. Take that away, and problem solved. He then only has a 7 second duration ultimate, and that is all he needs. Yes it is a major gigantic change, and a huge nerf, but Yi can still pick up those kills within 7 seconds like no other. 7 seconds is all he really needs to do damage. It's like Katarina and her ultimate, she doesn't need infinite seconds, she just needs a few seconds and bam, she's done damage.

Luckily they did give his ultimate a good nerf by making it last 7 seconds unless he gets a kill or assist. So that's a plus from the 10 seconds he had. So now when he ults, he has to be extremely closer, he can't just ult through the river and come blazing through, his ult would wear off sooner.

So at least we got that nerf, the cooldown reduction is just laughable, Riot must have been high to think that's a nerf. His ultimate CD is still extremely low, one of the lowest in the game still, he will have it up regardless, he can still clear the jungle with it and still have it up by the time a team fight happens, so that didn't do anything. Nerf it about 20 more seconds, then it will be a good nerf that actually works.

Anyhow, apart from all that, to finish nerfing this cancer, they should remove the added duration on his ult from kills and assist, then I'll be extremely happy. I don't expect Riot to ever do this, but honestly, it wouldn't effect the good Master Yi's at all, it would just effect the bad ones that want their freelo and Yi is a very easy champion to accomplish that with. So a good Master Yi will know when to ult, and make the biggest impact compared to the bad one who blows it. This is exactly what an assassin should be and should be a world wide logical thought by now but apparently Riot wants assassins to have lots of safety in their game. Zed etc...... Even my main and favorite champion Ekko has that safety, it's just Master Yi can go off and always hit big. He's gonna eventually get kills, even if you shut him down, he will eventually get the rageblade along with the devourer stacks, and just that crushes the other team.

So step up Riot, take away that duration for good, and the Master Yi crushing low elo era comes to an end once and for all. I can imagine whoever takes my advice and actually nerfs Yi is going to be fired."

This was my comment. Now while it's an extreme nerf to those who want freelo, and the bad players, good Master Yi's will always get lots of kills, and still have enough time cause 7 seconds is more than enough.

Anyhow, I am gonna say Master Yi won't be nerfed again for quite a long while, and I'm honestly somewhat ok with it, I think the current ultimate nerf hit him somewhat well from 10 seconds to 7 seconds? It's when he gets a kill and has the duration practically reset when it becomes a problem and again, taking that reset away for good would not hurt GOOD players who use him, an assassin should know when to go in, and not feel like a god rampaging through the enemy team.

So yeah, it's a huge change, a huge nerf to the bad players, but Yeezy can still have success.

Usually referred to as Samurais.

They are a Class in RPGs known for dodging or blocking everything with ther godlike mobility and swordsmanship and defeat entire legions of enemies single-handedly but blow up if pinned down.

in LoL, they are known as the Melee Carries.Fiora Tryndamere Yasuo MasterYi , a cancerous subclass of champions designed to be able to kill everything regardless of who it is.

They are normally balanced by RNG but LoL strives to stay away from RNG when it comes to actual combat. How Riot plans to balance a subset of champions literally designed to kill everything by themselves is anyone's guess but mine.
