Its the same thing with fiora. Build tanky yet still do a metric ton of damage. I'm constantly seeing him in my games. He just power farms the jungle, comes out as a higher level than the solo laners, and than carries with his true damage. He's getting too rewarded for just buying two damage items (devourer and rageblade).

Just fix the bloody champ already. I dont mind if he carries games if he's building damage for it. But this offtank bruiser BS needs to stop

What I hate about it is that you can't itemize against it. It's almost 1/3 Magic, True and Physical damage that he'll end up doing to you. Even as a tank you're boned.

The best way to shut down Jax is with slows, AA slow's, or even regular slows. Yi ignores all of those which I think is the biggest example of "lack of counterplay" in the game.

If you want to shut down a champion that AA's a lot, Frozen Heart, Randuin's, thornmail, Iceborn work wonders. So how the heck are you supposed to stop Yi?

Plus, his ult gives him a lot of Armor & MR, so the only thing he's really getting hurt by is the true damage.

what i like to do is i play a little game against yi

i let him do his attack speed bullshit dmg while i w+q him and passive from my ult ofc

and when i'm low hp (if i am low hp) i pop up my e and he is dead 100 % no q in this world can save him

yi get true dmg and become untargetable every 4 seconds, thats why hes more OP than jax, he can dodge the cc AND the burst

he cant build tanky but not as tanky as XinZhao and Jax not to talk about Tryndamere ult

master yi is good if you catch 0 cc enemy team

but seriously and i mean this one cc kills MasterYi

and if you want really high dmg you must build him almost full as+ad

maybe titanic hydra and black cleaver but thats hp he needs a lot of items to counter other hybrids and needs good luck to do it

thing is one cc isnt enough, because he keeps his Q to dodge it, any decent master know that Q is a defensive ability and W is a AA reset

a decent master knows that q has a long cooldown and if you avoid cc that means you wont get your AA and not AA means no q

any decent cc champ will know that yi has his q ready and for jax he doesnt need to stun yi at all he just needs those 2s when he is invincible

jax's passive at lvl 18 gives him free 90 % attack speed

much better then yi's ult

jax's passive gives him 300-400 magic dmg every 3rd attack at lvl 18

jax's w give him 300 magic dmg every 3 seconds

ofc if he builds hybrid he scales good with ap and ad

and ult itself scales with attack damage and ability power

if you really think master yi is better then play 1v1 with me

The scenario brought up was Yi vs Jax in a 1v1, so he couldn't be stunned unless Riot brought in Skull Basher/Abyssal Blade from DotA2

not at all, it was brought as master yi deal 1/3 AD/AP/true dmg so you cant itemize against it, so someone posted jax to show hes in the same boat, so i said true but yi is worst to deal with cause he can dodge cc

and jax is 10x more tanky then master yi

jax's active ult kinda sucks cuz late game full build you only get as much as armor + mr as full rank rammus with his w or 2x more then leona's w but still those 150 armor and mr is really helpfull

without ult i have around 170 armor and magic resist

plus my ult 320 armor and magic resist

i'm already tankier then most of the tanks in lol and i deal extremely high damage

It's not at all. I'm not sure about it on Master Yi but it HAS to be stronger on melees to ever be worth it compared to ranged and I don't think it's broken on anyone. Master Yi isn't strong just because of Fervor and he's not even strong in all comps. He's just insanely strong if you draft a dumb comp. If he were truly broken, you'd see him contested in LCS.

It's hilariously broke on Yi.

I'll put it like this:

2 autos at beginning = 4 fev stacks / 2 procs of dmg 1 auto for sated = 2 more / 1 proc of dmg 2 for double strike = maxing damage / 1 proc + 1 maxed out proc Sated proc = another max proc of it

so in 3 autoattacks yi has now procced fervor six times

and with fervor doing a max of 112 damage those last 2 autos gained 228 damage

every single auto after that will become ungodly damaging with an extra 112 dmg on a build that has Rageblade proc/Titanic Hydra proc/BOTRK proc (at least one of the three) and also with Wuju Style dealing ~80 true damage every single hit of one of these. Oh, and his AA damage and massive AS boost from Devo/Rageblade(or botrk) and his ult make him attack so fast Jinx minigun gets jealous.

Shit gets ridiculous.
