AD armor item?

Is there a reason why no item on Summoner's rift offers both AD and armor? I mean, we have two items that give AD and magic resist, I'd figure there would be a reciprocal item on the armor side. I guess you can build Guardian Angel, but that's a completely defensive item. Is there a balance issue? Something else? Just curious.

Edit*: So I overlooked , which does in fact give armor and AD. I'm still not entirely satisfied with that, though. When you compare Atma's to (60 AD) or (80 AD), I can't help but feel that its 15% crit strike chance does not validate the meager ~30 AD the item rewards an ADC.

I guess some validity for 's stats comes from its cheaper price, but a cheap buy is not something an ADC or an Assassin wants at level 18 typically, and earlier in the game it might not even be gold efficient on them, which makes me question when it makes sense to buy this item on a carry.

Edit**: Also noted by 7ha7guy777, is more or less scheduled to be removed next season, which brings us back to square one, hypothetically.
