Fiora double sustain items question.

So I see a lot of Fioras in bronze/silver (not sure about other divisions) build Hydra + Bloodthirster.

I get that the massive ad+life steal is great between these two items but it got me wondering why people don't build over
I imagine you'd still have plenty of lifesteal between the two plus your passive. AD wouldn't change. But the main reason is the CDR. Fioras standard build doesn't bring many options in this stat and this seems like an easy way to get more ults out without really losing anything. Not to mention you'd also save 300g in the meantime and get the mana vamp passive (just in case you need it).

BT gives the massive lifesteal so item 3075 the one item that can stop her becomes null and void

You could also buy a item 3156 , as item 3075 deals magic damage.

BT has almost double the lifesteal though, plus it gives her a shield. It's just much better for survivability.

Bt gives tons more life steal as well as a super useful shield. the mana regen and cdr on essence reaver just isn't worth giving up the extra life steal and shield.

And the 300g cheaper price point.

Also, as a Fiora, I'd much, much rather have 10% CDR than 10% more Lifesteal, and the shield is only relevant if you don't burst your opponent into oblivion immediately. If Bloodthirster just said "+350 health that you lose out of combat" people would stop freaking out about it as much, I think, because people tie "shield" to something more than just "bonus health."
