How would it know the difference? It would have to be coded as a different shield than normal shields.

I wouldn't be against it, seeing as barrier is worthless for the most part since heal is better off 99% of the time, having it have some extra effect would be nice.

I personally would say give it damage reduction. It gives you the same amount of shielding per level, but also gives a small damage reduction for using it. Something small like how heal only speeds you up by 30% for 1 seconds. Maybe 30% damage reduction for 1 second? It won't last long enough to be truly powerful, but its effect is strong enough in those ohh shit moments when you use barrier.

Since lets be real, Barrier is worthless on basically anyone not named Orianna and even then Ghost and Flash are better on her. The raw health from heal and the speed boost are more useful all the time than the shield.

i mean, its a large shield then the hp restored by heal, and much shorter cooldown like half. ive been running it on Kassadian mid, with teleport, since ult becomes a perma-flash, and it has served me far better then heal has.
