Top lane is becoming the lane of mid lane rejects
AKA mid laners who can't compete with the mid laners of today so they go top to abuse the fact that they are generally ranged and can harass the enemy Bruiser(unless Gnar) all day with no consequences.
Lissandra is top because she has trouble mid, Swain is barely used mid unless against certain matchups, Gragas has been used top more, Heimer is safer top lane vs melees than mid vs ranged, Mord is used top because he can actually reach his lane opponent.
The list will continue to grow even more unless something is done.
Nerfing Bruiser/Tank items was NOT the way to solve this Riot.
